Does anyone know the pricing levels. I've seen GA at $99, reserved seating from $99 and a max ticket price of $350, anyone got details of price breaks and what types of seats these relate too? Also anyone know how much red zone tickets are?

Quick answer is these details have not been released yet. Until we get official emails/details its all speculation.

Probably much the same as Europe (speculation as stated by previous poster)

In Euro (sorry will have to convert yoursel)

30,00 seated

55,00 seated

55,00 GA

75,00 seated

90,00 seated

150,00 seated

250,00 RZ

Obviously, the higher the price in seats, the better placement they will have.

still cant find when and where to get the tix.. grrrr
I think everyone is waiting for the elusive details / email.

Btw assuming your actual name is Jody, did you go to any of the concerts in 1989.

There was a girl a few spots behind me in the line named Jody who I kept in contact with for a while and when I got tickets for the 7th or 8th Sydney concert contacted to see if she wanted to go again. At the time the Jody I'm talking about lived in Woy Woy and worked in a bulding in York St in the city.

That would be funny if it was you after 21 years. LOL

I am also Horizon, you will find that we will be able to get tickets before the others in our group. They will stagger the times. We should be able to get them at 11am, the next group will be say 1pm and so fourth. That's how I understand it to happen. I am happy to be corrected.

Once we get the email all will be clearer. Let's hope it's soon.

Don;t get angry too soon, we haven;t had the full story as yet. Its possible that the pre-sale will be split into subscriber groups (I'm horizon as well, that's what I'm hoping). We can unleash the fury once we have confirmation of unfairness. wink.gif

Maybe they've looked at the stats of how many members of each group have already used their pre-sales codes for US and or Europe concerts and they don't think the demand justifies it ?

Or Ticketek and Ticketmaster have said bugger off we're not pandering to that sort staggered sales our systems don't cater for it, after all we are downunder and most people up north barely know where we are.

Gee, so perhaps I wasn't wrong about the fixed price redzones?

$299 is ridiculous. Stupid stupid stupid idea.

And $18 per transaction is a fucking joke.

$100 for GA... brilliant. Happy with that. But the rest, if correct, are shocking.

Is that NZ or AUS Ticketek and do you have a link? I've got some family that would like to see that info.

Limited edition CDs and stuff from previous years that people joining recently can't get ?

Propoganda magazine for those years of membership.

I know where you're coming from but by the same token where do they draw the line ie once this tour ends do they then have another set of groups based on when the next tour starts and eventually end up with 10, 20, 30 groups ?

Most memberships normally have no benefits based on years until 10 years, others 25.

In fact maybe that's it, instead of groups people should have a number of years, like Amex, and then they just with the longest serving and then an hour later the next and so on and so on.

Shocking, hmm I think it's fair enough but that's only my opinion. If you can't afford the expensive ones just go for the cheaper ones. I'm a GAman so not too concerned.

You think $300 for a stadium reserved seat, a STADIUM reserved seat, is acceptable?

That's robbery.

In other news, preliminary seating plan for Melbourne

Doesn't show the seat breakdown, but does show the orientation.

Also says on there 8 tickets per transaction. So that must be why we've got 2 codes ?

And yeah, doesn't affect me, GA all the way, but $230 and $300 for the top two seating categories... "strewth" as Alf would say.

Fa fark sake dude, buy the tickets you can afford and don't get upset over the concept that a production that costs about 100 million has to chrage relevant prices to recoup costs.

Why would they come here just to lose money?? they made that mistake with Popmart.

The prices are all in line with the Vertigo Tour, plus four years inflation etc, and all in line with Bon Jovi etc prices.

If your really that hard up, get a $40 ticket.  Shit, you can't see a local band at the Metro for that much.

Spend your hundred bucks on a GA, line up and get down the front like the rest of us.

Mate if you only knew....if you only knew...

I think $100 for GA is brilliant. And said as much. I think $318 for a seat at a stadium is robbery.

Have spent plenty of time in GA lines and will do so again.

But seriously. Thank you so very much for the advice.

"The prices are all in line with the Vertigo Tour" - bollocks they are I paid $99 for reserved seats at ANZ Stadium. Even the A-Reserver seats were only $129 but they'd sold out.

Pop Mart on the other had was a big rip off I paid $275 and got god awful seats in the heavens at the side of the SFS.

Also these are the same seats that I paid $60 bucks for to watch State of Origin or about $25-$40 bucks to watch the footy.

It's not like they're suddenly moved closer to the stage or something.

And with a 6/12 year old GAand queing all day is really not an option.

Lucky I get paid well although I still don't think I can justify $299 a pop.

Help a stressed girl out please lol. Can I use either of my two codes for tickets on Thursday?

Vertigo was $199 for A Res, $130 for B Res, $99 for C Res and $69 for D Res.

It's only 4 years. Ah well. Pay what you can afford, fine, but that doesn't stop my opinion that $300 for a stadium seat is robbery.

No doubt you will receive an e-mail with details on that so no need to worry about it until then.
