Good news about your mom Barbara!!!!!! I am tired too. Having Jennifer`s birthday party tonight and I have so much to do, housework, decorating, preparation, baking cookies. Most of her friends coming are teenage boys, so I have bought lots of food, lol.

I'm feeling a bit worried because if I don't get a better job, I won't be able to attend the Seattle show!!!

Oh no, so sorry to hear that Illumination.  There is always a way!  I feel that I can`t afford to go to Edmonton and I have been spending way too much money lately.  Went grocery shopping last night and everything has jumped way up in price.  Between that, my niece`s birthday and clothes, etc. for the pageant she is in, I will end up in the poor house.  Hang in there hun!!!!

I hope so because I've been waiting for over a year for this concert and something like my employment situation to come by at the very last minute to shoot it down is becoming very old.

I sure do hope it all works out.  I have taken another part-time job, I already babysit for two families, now I am dogsitting 4 days a week for a friend of mine.  A little extra money will come in handy.

I didn`t see U2 for 12 years due to money situations, so I know what you are going through.  I only got to see them in 2009 because my dear friend Sigma got me a ticket.  I was planning on going to Seattle with my niece, but this whole pageant thing screwed that up.  I wish they were in Seattle in July instead, much warmer!  Edmonton could still have freezing temps when I see them outside, yuck!

sorry to hear this illum. but don give up!! there must be a chance for you to see them! maybe find some dogs to sit on, like patti has? (and i don mean it as silly as it sounds) think thats so good of you patti, to find that kinda jobs. and good to hear you have a friend like sigma who shares your u2-love... thats what makes me love htis place soo much. even when people are pointing at the shortcomings, starting petitions or flashmobs.... this is where i got to know friends who share this passion!

i really hope we all will have many, many more concerts and albums to enjoy <3

In a good mood - had a good swim (with a foot condom lol!) and now the next time i'm in the pool it is for my great swim lol!

Was a bit sad yesterday as my friend flew back to America :( I did get to see him on Sunday when i was at my parents. Just not good that I could only see him for a couple of hours. And then he text me from the airport so say he was getting on the plane - why are all the people you want around you so far away?

couldnt stop papering walls last night. i continued till after 1am (way after my love went to bed) then had to clean up and tidy the living-room again. in bed by 3. award: cold-sore on my upperlip when i woke up round 10 this morning.

but happy cause only have to finish the walls with small pieces of paper round doors and window!!
if all goes well i can start painting sunday afternoon.
also got phonecall from my boss, to work lateshift on monday (sick colleague) told her okay, but then i need an early-shift on tuesday or wednesday, cause need to get sorted and packed for trip to uk (!yipie!) and not gonna work 3 late-shifts in a row before leaving on thursday. she arranged for another colleague to work my late-shift on thursday, yes!thumbsup.gif
