Coco is out in the UK this weekend - it looks like a lot of fun.

Also, my awesome thing for today: I found a Star Wars action figure that I've been looking for! :D

Browsing on Amazon, sellers wanted £50-60 for the Black Series Jaina Solo. I thought I wouldn't be able to afford one, or that I'd have to go to a specialist collectables store.

I went shopping this morning and my local supermarket (whose toy section is TINY) not only *had* SW Black Series figures, but had the Sword of the Jedi herself - for only £15. Made my day.

I got to choose to love or judge a most beloved family member and I chose to LOVE! (I will get to do this again and again!) It is NOT my job to judge.

I got my pink-pussy hat because even though I won't be able to attend the local people's march (we're moving due to hard times), I will still show my support for those who can!!

I found a Young Jedi Knights novel in a comic shop for only £2.50. Not often you see those on my side of the pond!

And the nice people in said comic shop let me reserve a graphic novel because I didn't have enough money on me to buy it today. I thought that was lovely of them.

I found 2 interesting books in the library today :)

I also put my latest Star Wars stickers in their book - and found that *NONE* of them were swaps. They were all ones from my needs list so I'm 10 stickers closer to completing the set B)

I had a day out with my Dad today. I had to go and collect a comic book I'd reserved at a place in Shrewsbury and we turned it into a day of browsing round shops. Nothing expensive or fancy, but it was nice to spend some time away from home.

And I found 4 really cool books in the Oxfam bookshop B)

A music video I was an extra in got released today! If you watch closely at 1:50 and 2:26 you'll be able to see me (back of shot at 1:50 and back of ginger head at 2:26). But really just watch the whole thing because the video and song are both amazing!

Hi.  I just saw a comment by you on a different thread and was going to ask how the Star Wars collecting was going.  I'm happy for you in getting such a bargain for something you love.  Good for you!

I got an email from someone who told me I have two tix to see Elton John in Chicago next October.  I don't have to deal with another verified fan presale and I've months to pay for my ticket.  That makes a great day for me.  I love Elton John.  His career spans most of my life.  Woo Hoo.

I found out the Jack White is not allowing cell phones for his upcoming tour.  I'm going to see him in Milwaukee and am very happy I shall have no screens in my face.  They hurt my eyes and my vision goes screwy...so thanks, Jack White!

My collecting is going quite well. I'm over halfway to completing the latest SW sticker book :)

After enduring a monumental flop of the Grammy awards this evening...Kesha came out and did a very moving performance of Prayer.

U2 followed with Get Out of Your Own Way.  As is usual, they sounded great.

OH my gosh were the Grammy Awards awful.  It seemed a very disjointed show which was half political rally and then all over the place.  It was terribly produced and directed.  They also had technical issues throughout the evening.  The stage manager has my empathy.

Kesha and U2 made it worth watching.  Pink was good but very understated.

U2 sounded so good and that backdrop cannot be beat.   It made my night.  Kesha made me start tearing up when she was crying.   I'm very happy to have seen it.
