Report- 3 nights at the 3Arena in Dublin

Recommended Posts

But no tickets through the presale this year, that ended Saturday.

It ended for the announced shows. There is nothing to say that there won't be a Dublin presale when the shows are announced.

How would you get codes for that now? That would be so frustrating!

It's the presale code we were given, it's the 1 presale code for all 2015 shows. They said before the presales that we're to hang onto them if we want in on the Dublin presales. I'm saving mine for the Dublin presale.

Should be an even number, anyway - given the pairing of concerts they're doing. Unless they do something different for Dublin!

I hope there will be 5 gigs  , so everybody will have the chance to get a ticket. I used already my pre-sale code for Amsterdam not knowing about Dublin dates will come soon.. I hope we could have the chance to use our Pre-sale code for Dublin.. :( if not it will be almost impossible ..

Whilst it was mentioned that they would play Dublin around the end of the year, it is interesting that they haven't actually announced the dates?

What would be the hold up?  Surely venues have been secured.

Oh please no! I've been hoping U2 steer clear of Croke specifically because of that reason! Glad it's an arena tour... in fairness, it was U2 who set the stage for some of those problems to begin with.... oops.

November?? I thought 'the end of the next year" means December, after Christmas.

Why would they put an odd number of shows in Dublin, if every other city has even number of shows? Makes no sense.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too! All will be revealed soon! I think they'll do at least four Dublin Arena dates. Maybe even 6!

Would be great if they did late December into the new year ala Lovetown tour!

I think Belfast deserves a couple of shows. When was the last time they played there? Popmart?

Yep, big lemon n all outdoors,1997 - and before that 1987. I think its long overdue, they could do two nights in Odyssey Arena - would sell out in minutes. Wishful thinking though, more likely 4 or 5 nights at O2 in Dublin if I were a betting man.
