Big screens

Don't the big screens block the view of the stage or catwalk for those seats that are higher up and not lower level ?

Not at all !

Only exception is if you are behind the main stage, the band on the e-stage and the screen down to the catwalk. That means only one song (Even Better Than The Real Thing)

I wouldn't say that. If you are directly behind either stage you could face significant obstructions. For the lower tier this should only be when the screen is lowered. For the upper tier it could be for ANY time the band is performing at the opposite end of the arena. None of these seats will see the screen, which seems to be an important part of the show. Note: for the first image, the view will be worse directly behind the e-stage. Plus the screen is lowered further, before the show begins.

The views from the corners, for both uppers & lowers, looks better (3rd picture).

How visible is the screen from GA

 -- on the rail

-- and also further back behind everyone's heads (esp. if you're not very tall)?

Hmmm. You pay your money but the price does not seem to reflect the "experience" you will. Get. Not very well thought through. Have to wait till October in London but hoping something is sorted by then for the "innocent" U2.com fans who paid up. Like me.
