Philly for my son...

Recommended Posts

Hey...

It's been a while since I have been to the Zoo... Life has caught up to me and I have been busy with it. It's funny how much you can be dedicated to a band and follow them from show to show and completely get caught up in daily life not long afterward. Maybe some of you remember me from the old "Zoo".

I now have a 14 year old son that has really caught the U2 bug... I was very surprised when I began to hear him playing War and The Joshua Tree (in the shower no less). What was even more surprising was that he was singing along and knew all the words. I know how this feels. Well, he just learned that the boys are going to be touring again and he asked me if we could go. I SO badly want him to experience the concert and in the GA. Not just the General Admission area, but the GA queue and being around other Zootlops. I tried to get tickets and can't afford to buy 3 GA tickets at the prices that are being asked on StubHub. The tickets along with convenience fee puts the total price at over $1000. I don't have a problem with paying for the tickets, I do have a problem with the greed of companies that charge these prices for the convenience fees.

So, with that, I'm on the lookout for for 3 GA tickets. Even if I can get one here and one there, it would be amazing. If anyone has extra GAs for Philly, please contact me...

Thanks for reading my long-assed post.

Thanks... I have a feeling it's going to be more of a challange than I thought. Since I let my membership lapse, I was not given the opportunity to get in on the presale once they announced the tour.

Hopefully someone from the area will have a ticket or two.
