It's "Feeding Time" at Zootopia

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about starting a fun, thread which consisted of food-related topics such as recipes and what was on today and tonight's menu.  As for me, we grabbed a sausage pizza from Little Caesar's Pizza. Not only is the pizza affordable, but I have a great deal of respect for the late owner (Mike Llitch) quietly paid Rosa Park's rent during her final years.  Enough about me, now it's your turn to share.

Today's breakfast consisted of the following:

Starbucks Columbian coffee, yogurt, fresh peach, strawberries, fresh squeezed orange juice (made from oranges from the tree in our yard) and granola. California produce is delicious!

Actually growing/preparing your own food is the way to go since many people are developing sensitivities, allergies, etc .  I should know because I remember being "floored" when I found out I was allergic to aspartame.

Back to the original subject, tonight I had a bowl of pasta salad with vegetables and a fudge brownie!!

My dinner menu consisted of red rice, orange glazed sauteed chicken (no coating on it), salad with tomatoes,  carrots, avocado,  green onion, celery, crumbled blue cheese and ranch dressing. For desert home baked apricot  (grown in our backyard) cobbler. Not bad, huh?

I tried to upload a photo but it wasn't the correct size. I humbly encourage you to imagine what you think it looks like.

My lunch consisted of home made fish tacos with tomatoes, onion, cilantro, avocado, Monterey Jack cheese, onion, a bit of ranch salad dressing, Sriracha, cabbage on a mini sized corn tortilla. A family member went deep sea fishing so it was fresh!  So good!
