Whats the point!

Even with Subscription/Membership you still get out of control pricing on some of the worst seats available. If I wanted to get robbed I would have just gone to STUBHUB from the getgo.

So true! Fans should have access to low price seats up close, other than these ridiculous VIP packages. General Admission isn't for everyone, and not easy to get anyway, but $325.00 - $ 651.00 for an ok seat for real fans, is just too much. What about your poor fans U2? I'm so sick of this system. The only way I could get seats remotely close for sort of cheap were to choose behind the stage or with "limited view." I would rather go to a U2 show with no special effects or gimmicks for cheap than to pay those prices all the time. I wonder if the band ever consider this.

They sold out when they signed with Livenation.  It's all about squeaking out every last penny from their fans now.  The only good value is the GAs, but a lot of older fans aren't up for that...  So they give the mostly newer, younger generation of U2 fans, who are able to stand the entire time, a good deal on tickets, and get them hooked as fans..  But in doing so, leave the older fans to empty their bank accounts for decent seats.  Or they could always sit behind the stage for a mere $100 or so lol.

There are two problems with the $300 seats.  There are too many of them.  I totally get having the very best seats $300.  Every tour  has top level seats for that much. Getting a good seat to a baseball game in Chicago, Boston or NY costs that much.  Nevermind Broadway. But every single seat in the lower level is absurd.  The second problem is they sell every single one of them, so they are not going anywhere.
