Psalm 41: 1-3

Blessed is the one who considers the poor.

 In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;

The Lord protects him and keeps him alive;

 he is called blessed in the land;

 you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.

The Lord sustains him on his sickbed;

 in his illness you restore him to full health.

Psalm 2.    Common English  Bible.

1- Why do the nations rant?

Why do the peoples rave uselessly?

2-The Earth's rulers take their stands;

the rulers scheme together against the Lord

and against his anointed one.

3- Come! They say " We will tear off their ropes and threw off their chains!

4- The one who rules in Heaven laughs;

my lord makes fun of them."

5- But then God speaks to them angrily;

then he terrifies  then  with his fury.:

6- " I hereby appoint my king on Zion, my holy mountIain.

7- I will announce the Lord's decision :  he said to me :' you are my son , today I have become your father!

Luke 15: 22-24 But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’

Ezekiel 33:17,20

17 “Yet your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just.

 18 If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, they will die for it.

 19 And if a wicked person turns away from their wickedness and does what is just and right, they will live by doing so.

20 Yet you Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But I will judge each of you according to your own ways.”

Mark 12: 41-44

41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

Ecclesiates 8: 16-17

When I applied my heart to know wisdom and observe what is done on earth,

I recognized that man is unable to find out all God's work that is done under the sun,

even though, neither by day, nor by night, do his eyes find rest in sleep.

However much man toils in searching, he does not find it out,

and even if the wise man says that he knows, hie is not able to find it out.

Matthew 5: 33-37

33  "Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.' 34  But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35  or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36  And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37  All you need to say is simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

1 Peter 5:9-10  Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.  And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm and establish you.
