No woman no cry

No, woman, no cry;

No, woman, no cry;

No, woman, no cry;

No, woman, no cry.

Said - said - said: I remember when we used to sit

In the government yard in trenchtown,

Oba - obaserving the ypocrites

As they would mingle with the good people we meet.

Good friends we have, oh, good friends weve lost

Along the way.

In this great future, you cant forget your past;

So dry your tears, I seh.

No, woman, no cry;

No, woman, no cry.

ere, little darlin, dont shed no tears:

No, woman, no cry.

Said - said - said: I remember when-a we used to sit

In the government yard in trenchtown.

And then georgie would make the fire lights,

As it was logwood burnin through the nights.

Then we would cook cornmeal porridge,

Of which Ill share with you;

My feet is my only carriage,

So Ive got to push on through.

But while Im gone, I mean:

Everythings gonna be all right!

Everythings gonna be all right!

Everythings gonna be all right!

Everythings gonna be all right!

I said, everythings gonna be all right-a!

Everythings gonna be all right!

Everythings gonna be all right, now!

Everythings gonna be all right!

So, woman, no cry;

No - no, woman - woman, no cry.

Woman, little sister, dont shed no tears;

No, woman, no cry.

I remember when we used to sit

In the government yard in trenchtown.

And then georgie would make the fire lights,

As it was logwood burnin through the nights.

Then we would cook cornmeal porridge,

Of which Ill share with you;

My feet is my only carriage,

So Ive got to push on through.

But while Im gone:

No, woman, no cry;

No, woman, no cry.

Woman, little darlin, say dont shed no tears;

No, woman, no cry.

Eh! (little darlin, dont shed no tears!

No, woman, no cry.

Little sister, dont shed no tears!

No, woman, no cry.)

I love this song. I thought of it at the time of a good friend

of mine's death in Iraq and it has been my favorite song

since then. None of us could be at the funeral in the States

with his wife and small children, whom he spoke of often,

but wives of some of my friends in Iraq were at his funeral

at home to support his wife. I was at a memorial service

for three friends of mine (though they were not as close,

I only served in the Army with them and knew who they

were) only a few days ago. Several points in the service

were especially affecting: when the names of each soldier's

wife and names and ages of his children were read (one

child is six months old, which particularly struck me), and

after the service when we lined up to salute and kneel

before their helmets, rifles, and boots, and Bob Dylan's

"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" was played over the speakers.

The song was very affecting.

My Song

my beautiful

You're Beautiful as a flower

As it has thorns

But it has beautiful petals

That hide their stem espinhento

my beautiful

Beautiful as paradise

With your beautiful eyes

As the sky and the sea in harmony

my beautiful

With his beautiful blond hair

His unparalleled perfection

my beautiful

But who is seen near its thorns

That hurt and hurt

But sometimes love can make

my beautiful.

Yep, here too. No doubt, it drives me crazy, haha. First the bird-ies, then dreamy Edge sounds, next: SUNSHIIIIIINE, SUNSHIIIIINE.. and at the end tongue.gifthe guitar climax. Brilliant.

This is your life....

This Is Your Life Lyrics

Candy talks to strangers

Thinks her life's in danger

No one gives a damn about her hair

It's lonely down on track street

She used to go by Jackie

The cops, they'll steal your dreams and they'll kill your prayers

Take a number where the blood just barely dried

Wait for something better

No one behind you

Watching your shadows

This feeling won't go

Crooked wheels keep tuning

Children, are you learning

Climatize but don't you lose the plot

A history of blisters

Your brothers and your sisters

Somewhere in the pages we forgot

Take a number Jackie

Where the blood just barely dried

You know I'm on your side

Wait for something better

No one behind you

Watching your shadows

You gotta be stronger than the story

Don't let it blind you

Rivers of shadow

This feeling wont go

And the sky is full of dreams

But you don't know how to fly

I don't have a simple answer

But I know that I could answer

Something better

This feeling won't go

Wait for it (x4)

ps * You will know the truth and the truth will set you free*
