OK - So today i got to go for my first ever pre-sale for the Singapore show. Due to location and circumstance, I had never been in a position to go through this process before, so having been a member of U2.com for years, the Singapore announcement was a dream come true. Having watched from the sidelines for a number of years, i had always thought the moderators did a fanstastic job, and felt a strong sense of community within Zootopia. Today, when things went a bit awry in the presales, I experienced first hand what I have watched for years and I am very grateful. The image below pretty much sums up the roller coaster from this morning and for me two things are very clear: 1. buying tickets for these concerts is in no way a neutral experience, and 2. The moderators annd community are just fantastc. What is also missing from the picture is "thankfullness" to the mods, and to the community who actively participate in helping others. This is literally off the chart.

After Bad, it's my favorite U2 song. It's mind blowing to see it live. I think they skipped it because it's on so many other things that have been released. As for your confusion to my post about us asking for much-it was just a silly joke from being excited about this gift and the new tour. My gut tells me there is a decent chance they will play UTEOTW for TJT 2019 (mere conjecture but I think we'll hear it). It's a new tour in places they have not played for a long time, if at all. I too am hoping it makes the set list. I watch the EI live versions on YouTube all the time.

The reason for discussing this is because we love u2 so much. The point is not that we're not thankful or something. This is about informing subscribers who paid their membership and are promised certain things. So confusing starts and then a forum is a great place to share feelings about this. The gift gor this year is among the best gifts they they've had, so inform subscribers and ship this great item. Money isn't the issue I think.

Just some thoughts about Ticket Pick Ups at 7/11. I wandered into a random one the other day, and talked to the dude working there. You will need the Ticket Order Confirmation e-mail with your ticket number on it (about 15 digits). You can either print it out, before you go, or take your mobile device with it on there. (For example my confirmation e-mail was sent to my i-phone e-mail, so I will take the phone and show them the e-mail.) The staff enters your ticket information into the register and prints out the ticket(s) for you. They might get you to push a 'confirm' button on a screen. They will also give you a receipt to sign. And that's it. Simply say 'Ticket Pick up' and show the e-mail and you'll be fine. Don't forget to smile. The only small confusion I had with my dude at first was he thought I wanted to buy tickets at first. I recommend you take some I.D. with you (just in case) and maybe have the credit card with you...again just in case. Also maybe some small change in case there is a printing fee (maybe 300-400 Yen/ 3 or 4 bucks). Most staff will be able to understand simple English spoken a little slowly and clearly. The ticket confirmation e-mail also includes Japanese instructions for the Staff if they give you a WTF? look. but I don't think there will be any issues. this part of the e-mail: [STANDING FRONT/REAR, SS/S/A SEAT] Tickets must be picked up at a Seven-Eleven store in Japan prior to the show, and will not be issued at the venue. Tickets will be available for pick up from 20th November (Wed) from 10:00am. When picking up your ticket(s), you will be required to show your e-mail purchase confirmation to store staff. Please ensure you print this in advance or are able to access it on your mobile device. After the staff have confirmed the Ticket Number shown in your e-mail purchase, they will print your ticket(s). Make picking up the tickets a priority when you get into Tokyo. Don't leave it to the last minute. Don't lose them, they cannot be re-issued. I hope this is some help, it may be redundant as others may have already posted about it. Keep on Rockin' and Rolling.

Complete agree on this. After several 'delays' the item was said to be shipped in August. And guess what? No shipping. It's almost a year since it has been announced! I know it'll arrive one day for sure and I love this gift but teasing and teasing us is not so great. Another point of disappointment for me is the lack of official NEW u2 releases. It looks like every band is releasing deluxe versions and other material regularly (Stones, REM, etc etc) U2 stays with old releases in a different colour. It has become very lazy business for u2. Money is more important now than their fans imo. Last great deluxerelease was the deluxe set of AB several years ago. After that they stopped with deluxe versions. Where are the dvd's/blu rays for JT, E&I for example??? As a fan I'm

Ahhh, new tracks. The Miracle was the first ever U2 song I heard live in the flesh so it's always got a special place for me. Love Is All We Have Left is a track I was kind of sad not to hear live in its original form - it's mesmerising.

My comment was not intended to be critical of anyone's opinion or feelings. I've learned to look on the bright side of things or life totally sucks. It's my approach to this as well. I'm also frustrated. I'm using YouTube for my fix until we get the cds. In no way was I trying to diminish anything anyone has written.

My mom has cancer and got her recent blood test results. The counts are way down. The chemo pills were not working but now they are. She's still not sick from them, nor is she losing her hair. She's eighty years old and can do more than I can. I don't think this is going to kill her. I'm not God so I'm still praying. I've been very worried. Many thanks to the powers that be. Great news.

It might not sound good, but I had a big argument with my older sisters - which led to some honest discussions which I hope have ultimately helped us understand each other better.

Respect. I'm an asia from Sri Lanka, and this is my first ever U2 show. Was waiting for them to come to ASIA for 10 years and like you said I'm dreaming to get to the front in rail so you know. I don't know whether il be able to see U2 ever again, im guessing other asian fans feels the same too. But having said that I know, we will have to queue, but doubt asians will queue for days, I myself having spine disabilities, could queue for a maximum of 6 hours I would say, which I doube will be enought to get a railing spot.. lets see how luck turns out but if there are multiple entrances for GA that means it would be easier for people like us isnt it?

cheers to everyone who posted their hints last week... I was able to get 3 GAs to Auckland 2 in less time than it took me to play One Tree Hill :-) Don't give up if you get an error like this, just close it and try again from U2.com/tour

Worked this out for myself just now. Just remembered that I had purchased a t shirt from the u2 shop on Saturday for £23 and that explains the live nation charge on my cc! Must be getting old!

No problem at all. It took a bit of courage because I am so ashamed and frankly heartbroken but I really do hope that I can help someone else not get ripped off. I heard for the last time from the Fake Edge tonight, He got quite nasty and I finally blocked him.

Unforgettable Fire were great. Their Bono could pass as the real one. He has the look and mannerisms down to perfection. They played a great set and the place was rocking. Fix You played first and are a Coldplay tribute. I'm not up to date with Coldplay but I recognized about 80% of the FY set. Their lead singer has amazing energy and was constantly moving throughout the performance. A fantastic night out. I would go again in a heartbeat. Now bed.

"Treat yourself and be yourself." Great advice. I have just bought two tickets. My spouse nixed the standing option so I got seats instead. Really looking forward to it.

I was all these shows in Chicago. I remember thinking that only Bono could pull of that marching walk he does in that cap. At first I was offended and then thought, 'Dude, it's Bono. Look at his face. He's being a cock.' He looks so cool. When he sings the first part, and is standing still, 'm four rows away from him. These Vertigo shows (all of them) were some of the greatest nights of my life. Thanks for posting.

I love how Larry drives the car through the desert and the hot girl and I wish it were Bukowski instead of Burroughs at the end......The music is extremely cool !!! Of course !! It's actually Bukowski's poetry collection that's called " The Last Night of the Earth" !
