The way it was solved was cancelling the tickets, then resetting the codes. I don't think you would want that.

I'm from America and have only bought tickets within America.. Many times, I've been able to get a great seat for a show if I buy a single seat. I usually get up front doing it. My friends do as well. Some times we are a few rows behind the other but we have great seats. I like going to one U2 show alone when there are multiple nights.. It's a completely different experience when I watch the show alone. IE Chicago first night I was alone. EI Chicago second night I was alone. Both were awesome with a unique perspective. FYI

OK - So today i got to go for my first ever pre-sale for the Singapore show. Due to location and circumstance, I had never been in a position to go through this process before, so having been a member of U2.com for years, the Singapore announcement was a dream come true. Having watched from the sidelines for a number of years, i had always thought the moderators did a fanstastic job, and felt a strong sense of community within Zootopia. Today, when things went a bit awry in the presales, I experienced first hand what I have watched for years and I am very grateful. The image below pretty much sums up the roller coaster from this morning and for me two things are very clear: 1. buying tickets for these concerts is in no way a neutral experience, and 2. The moderators annd community are just fantastc. What is also missing from the picture is "thankfullness" to the mods, and to the community who actively participate in helping others. This is literally off the chart.

Now that the pre-sales are (mostly) over, I thought it was high time to give a place to show our appreciation to our moderators. They volunteer their time to help us out, often at crazy times of the night. So to @Max Tsukino, @mich40& @bigwave a huge thanks for all your work helping us during the presales (when we were stressed !) We all owe you a drink when we see you 😊 See you on the road or here in zootopia during the tour soon

Dave Matthews Band killed it last night in Bethal Woods, NY. It was my first time seeing them and I would definitely see them again. Another first on the 29th of this month when I'm seeing Phish in Camden, NJ.

I agree, the situation was different, but the technical solution is basically the same: add the appropriate presale codes back into the validation table so they may be used again. I understand we all need to wait and see what, if any, accommodation might be made for Singapore2 presale, but I hope Live Nation/the band continue to strive to improve the technical side of the buying process (it has dramatically improved over these past 3 tours! THANK YOU) so that fans don't get stuck out in the cold due to the strategy employed when deciding to add shows. Thanks for all you do, Mods. I know everyone is working to do their best for the fans & their experience.

The singa tour has been dramatic from the start.. first the tickets were accidently sold, then when we were told its unlikely a 2nd show will happen, came untrue, so expect a miracle few hours before the presale starts tommorrow a notice saying.. "Due to overwhelming response, the presales code can be used again for the 2nd show" :p

1 ticket should be a breeze. the website puts you in a virtual queue though when the tickets launch. you just gotta keep your fingers crossed.

Just thinking out loud... they managed to reactivate the codes of those people who bought their tickets in the 'accidental' presale and had their purchase cancelled. Couldn't they do the same thing again?

Keeping my fingers crossed for a second night.

And @xrayjets likes to jokingly harass us every presale and tour with that question....which, personally, I appreciate the comic relief.

You can have 2 subscriptions in the same household with the same address - my husband and I both have a subscription. I’ve had mine for years and he has had his about 2 years I think. We only got his for ticket purchase for the 2017 Joshua tree as my brother in law wanted tickets so it meant we could buy more (not sure why he didn’t get a subscription thinking about it but then he is a bit tight). Obviously it is 2 completely separate subscriptions with each of our details etc. It means we get two of the same subscriber gifts though...I have spares!

Yes thank you Mods....you are the best, and have the patience of saints when getting asked the same question again...and again....and again.... (like how many tickets can I buy). I’m not sure about gold alarm clocks but I’d buy you a few pints.

Issuing new codes is not an option. Sorry. If there is an update about this, it will be posted... please keep checking the board.

Sorry about this, you’ve fallen into a bit of a trap 😋 During the Vertigo Tour there were many, many, many threads started (and even a sticky thread !) after shows asking what was the name of the song just before U2 come on stage. Our moderators showed great patience...explaining that it was the great Wake Up by Arcade Fire 😊

Well done Singapore. Have to admit, I didn't expect a second show there, but it's very welcome news! 😁

Corey was on it on Saturday night. Given how much punishment his vocal cords must take in one night alone with Slipknot, his scream is way better than it has any right to be after 20 years! It's been two days since I returned home from Download, and the festival withdrawal symptoms are kicking in hard...Still, one week til Interpol!

THE PRESALE FOR SINGAPORE HAS ENDED. At this moment there are no other shows or presales scheduled. Please check the main site and Zootopia for any possible tour update. IMPORTANT: Please do not post any messages selling, trading or seeking tickets for any show. At the moment, a specific section for trades/sales is being evaluated, so we ask you to wait until further notice. Thanks.

I guess that if no-one can re-use their code, there's not much use for a presale 🤔 Oh well, sportshub moves in mysterious ways, who knows what will happen
