Respect. I'm an asia from Sri Lanka, and this is my first ever U2 show. Was waiting for them to come to ASIA for 10 years and like you said I'm dreaming to get to the front in rail so you know. I don't know whether il be able to see U2 ever again, im guessing other asian fans feels the same too. But having said that I know, we will have to queue, but doubt asians will queue for days, I myself having spine disabilities, could queue for a maximum of 6 hours I would say, which I doube will be enought to get a railing spot.. lets see how luck turns out but if there are multiple entrances for GA that means it would be easier for people like us isnt it?

Got my tickets - kids coming too! I have been a member of this community for years never once thinking I would be in a position to access presales. Therefore I always told myself I would be more calm. After ignoring advice from my wife and using my phone over her laptop, I am now getting the world's biggest "I told you so" as well as a few glares for shouting at my phone and a few moments of panic. This is probably old news to many of the experienced campaigners here but will share my learnings here anyway: 1.Much better booking through computer for anyone in the same position. 2. Always listen to your wife! Thanks to the mods and others for your helpful advice.

Well done. If at first you don't succeed... and all that. Trying to get the Singapore only address thing fixed, but this seems good workaround for now

At least at 10 AM sharp when you click the Wires presale button it will go to the second screenshot, with a field to add your presale code... once entered and when you hit go, you will go to the first screenshot... It's possible that the field to add the presale code appears before 10 AM, but it's not a certainty...

If the GA tickets have multiple entry points around the stadium, that will be a huge problem. This issue has occurred before for shows like Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.

as you can see, the field for the Wires presale is not active... please wait until it's active...

Fairly safe to say, the ticket agency is not investigating the addresses of everyone in Red Zone. The only concern would be with your credit card company, apparently the ticket service is not transmitting the address to be checked. Once the orders went through, it should be fine.
  15. 1 point
You're seriously considering queueing in Singapore? Apart from the question whether they let you (you get fined for forgetting to flush after a number 2, and they check), it's 34 degrees and 90% humidity...

At this moment we don't know: - How the procedure to enter the stadium will work and if it will be multiple gates - If they will allow a fan-managed numbering system... we don't know if it's allowed to queue early as in other venues... It's simply too early for that... better to wait until there is more information available.

Well, that was more stressful than it should be.... why these sites cannot just work i do not know... However, i have two Red zone tickets, so happy days.. I live in the UAE and so have a PO Box as our address - i just changed the location to Singapore and it was accepted. I believe Singapore works with a PO box system too. Just put a 5 digit number as your PO box, location Singapore. and it seems to work... Bought the tickets, and now have changed it back to my UAE address, which should be irrelevant anyway as they are collect at the venue!! Looking forward to a trip to Singapore in November!

Same it's with Red Zone- couldn't get round the address issue. Went back in & bought print-at-home seats blk 113. So, happy, but could be more ecstatic! Oh, the stress!! Happy show everyone to those travelling from near & from very far!

I used the hotel address, and it worked but I had to try 3 times to secure RZ tickets.

I followed the advice of the mods and used the hotel address. Thanks.

Log off and try again... I got the same notice but when redoing the procedure again, it was accepted...

it's not a presale if there aren't a few expletives...
  25. 1 point
I got my tickets, but not without a few expletives 😢😂

No matter what, I cannot check out with the RZ tickets in my cart. Same with friends. It offers only one delivery method and then says it is invalid for anyone who doesn't have a Singapore address.

The seats in Seoul sold quickly. It's just taken a long time to sell the last of those GA's (out of a total of 20,000 I've heard). Will there be another Seoul concert, who knows. I was a bit optimistic, but other people I've heard from think probably not. The pros for another concert, the stage will already be set up, so the costs for a second concert will be much less. They have many months to sell out the show(s). With dynamic pricing they're likely to reduce prices to get there. The cons, a second show would be on a Monday night so unlikely to sell as well. A half empty show won't be a great look for the last show of the tour (although the seats would sell out, so it would just be a sparse GA). Maybe they should have put seats in the rear GA section, as it seems Koreans have a preference for seats over standing GA. One thing that would be quite different between Singapore & either Seoul or Tokyo would be the weather. Singapore will always be hot & humid, while northern Asia will be in winter. There's a chance of snow in Tokyo, in Seoul there's a good chance! I actually opted for Tokyo, as I'll also go snowboarding in Japan. I also choose Japan for the amazing food, the onsens & the culture. Doing a bit of research prior to the sales, it looked like Singapore would have the more expensive concert tickets. But it turned out to be that Japan has the most expensive tickets, far more expensive in some cases. GA's in Japan are 183/145 USD, compared to 137 USD in Singapore, & 130/120 USD in Seoul (& 91 USD in Oz).RZ's in Japan are 555 USD, compared to 430 USD in Singapore, & 383 USD in Seoul (& 380 USD in Oz from memory).CAT1's in Japan are 359 USD, compared to 269 USD in Singapore, & 200 USD in Seoul (& 259 USD in Oz). The GA prices in Japan shocked me a bit (double the price of Australia), resulting in me only getting GA's for the second show in Tokyo. Seoul is the cheapest option in Asia, far cheaper than Japan. Also be aware, that if you plan on doing GA, both Japan & Seoul use a system where entry into GA is based the order you purchased tickets, not on a first come-first served GA line. So those people who purchased their GA tickets early in the Red Hill presale should be the first to enter the arena, with no waiting required. If you're looking at GA's for a second Seoul date (if it happens), & you're on the ball, you could get a spot in GA right at the front with no waiting. The other unusual thing is that the general sale (for Japan at least) is a lottery, which doesn't happen until July. So you won't know where you'll be sitting, & won't know for some time where you've been successful in getting tickets. Even in the presale, only the seat category (price) could be selected. Where this seat is located is anyone's guess. One last point. Flights between Tokyo & Seoul seem to be quite cheap. Giving you the option to do both Japan & Seoul.

you need to confirm your email address... there should be a button close to the notification to do it (I can't make a screenshot of it because I confirmed it years ago).... It shouldn't affect your chance to participate on the presale but it's better to do it - it may help to receive the u2.com email notifications...

i received the email just now... apparently it doesn't affect buying tickets so you are good to go :)

We just had a visit from my nephew and his little son. There's a complicated situation between my nephew and his ex, so we haven't seen my great-nephew since last year. He's one and a half now and thoroughly adorable. He was toddling about, exploring our house and singing a made-up song to himself The downside is that we don't know how long my nephew will have access/visits with him, but it was nice to have this visit.

Yeah i tried to come to america or europe for the last 10 years and here in Sri lanka they dont easily give us visa unless we show a lot of wealth in our bank accounts so i never got the chance. So asia was my best bet and finally dream came true. I will post when i get the tickets on tuesday 😄

I tried a new Chinese Restaurant today and thank God the sweet & sour chicken had the dark, plum sauce instead of that nuclear pink stuff!!
