  1. Refunds and Presale codes

Did u get any help. I had same usdue
  2. Dear Wanderer, I appreciate your input. But it is new compared to previous tours. You absolutely could use your presale codes even if 50 U2 members lived in the same house in previous tour (this is how me and my roomies traveled to see the group for several shows, and over several tours). And I say this respectfully, if it was an old policy (which it is not), it would mean U2 were negligent and decided not to make this evident when selling memberships (and issuing presale codes) to households that have more than one member.
  3. "Tickets are absolutely being cancelled. Ticketmaster is not budging form this." So, I called the number at the bottom of the U2.com FAQ on the tour link (number posted below) and this is what was exactly told to me. So, basically if you share the same address with another U2.com subscriber only one of you can use your pre-sale code. Thus, I can't use my pre-sale code because I share a house with other U2 fans who also have a code. If I do this, I was told I will be at risk of having "all orders cancelled". Has anyone had tangible results getting at a policy that assures things won't get cancelled when following the exact ticket procedure that U2 issued? It seems as if Bigwave has had to try and fix everything. Which sucks for him and is an absurd way to handle ticket sales for the biggest band in the world ticket. Again, this is the phone # posted on the U2.com page. Please tell me someone has gotten a better answer. I suggest we all call. 4. New presale code for new dates?

flash277, on 09 Dec 2014 - 1:16 PM, said: You can do that, BUT: Set up a TM account in your wife's name also, with a DIFFERENT CC (namely, one of hers) than you have with your TM account. Then you should be OK. Also, any paperless tix bought through your wife's account will require HER to go to the show. This will not work if you have the same address. If you use a presale code (even if it was legit such as your wife) you will have your tickets cancelled by TM because they are cancelling all orders that have shared addresses. I just got off the phone with the people on the U2.com FAQ page this is what they said. "Ticketmaster is not budging."

  6. Hi BigWave, Your patience is amazing. I greatly appreciate your consideration. My household is greatly frustrated and any help you could lend would be much appreciated. Issue follows: I live in a household with a family member who is also a U2.com subscriber. I used my pre-sale code, while she did not. Now that shows have been added, she would like to use her code for the just announced shows. The problem is, there are several stories on multiple threads that state orders are being cancelled by TM because fans who legitimately had pre-sale codes (and followed the rules) are having tickets shipped to the same address. My questions are: 1. How does she get to use her pre-sale code? 2. There appears to be a blatant disconnect between TM's lack of ability/willingness to help and U2.com's original good intentions. What is the explicit (written) policy? It would seem that those who can't use their pre-sale codes would be entitled to a membership refund. Which doesn't really solve anything because all they wanted was tickets. Please give advice on how I can help her use her code. Thanks for your help.
  7. The best U2 openers I have seen: 1. Rage Against the Machine 2. Public Enemy 3. The Pixies
  8. No problem. We are doing the same with the pre-sale code my wife is going to use. Best of luck.
  9. I posted in your other thread. But I will say it here again. There would be no better city in the world to see U2 than New Orleans. I have seen them everywhere (including Dublin 1st row). I would be shocked if at some point they do not make their way to the Big Easy. They love the city. Have charities devoted to the region. Visit it fairly often and have not been in years. I have a feeling they will come, and I will be there when they do! Keep the faith Alex5.
  10. PS-To answer your question......Previous tours have always added cities. Also, there have been pre-sales for added dates/cities.
  11. I want to see them in New Orleans more than any other city. For as much as they do for N.O. and as much as they love it (and praise it) I would find it odd if they did not play it this tour.
  12. Floor versus Red Zone

Yes. I am looking for this answer as well. Thanks.
  13. So did anyone get tickets yet?

(Very politely asked) does anyone know the cost of REDZONE tickets for U.S. shows? Thank you kindly.
  14. I am having the same problem. Did you figureout an answer? Thanks.
