  1. Like someone said in the good old days in the 80s and 90s, you'd hand over the cash, get your tickets and go home satisfied to sleep for two days and deal with the physical pain of a concrete bed for the nights before. Too easy. I think I need something tangible in my hands.
  2. Just a quickie - and I know this will sound strange as why would I be complaining that the $$$ is still in my bank account - but Ticketek haven't debited my credit card as yet. Nor do I have my confirmation email. Anyone else in the same boat? I have kept my 'confirmation screen' - printed it out but was just wondering........
  3. My RZ say the same so it might be their way of keeping track of numbers...
  4. Have you checked out the other tickets this ebay seller has for sale for other artists?
  5. yes, these have been up for days. Don't know how they got their tickets days ago..
  6. I don't know - perhaps it is because they have to personally issue the wrist bands? Well I am glad that is over. In all the panic, I have used my two codes (at least I think I did when I copied and pasted in my panic stricken state!) so have got red zone for Sydney and Melbourne. My sister used her membership code to get red zone Brisbane so I think I am under control... I think.... Good luck to everyone. It was tough. Ticketek immediately gave me 4 x red zone for Sydney at 11am and then threw me out when i was putting in my cc info! Argh! Stick with it though as it gave me tickets again on the 64th retry!
  7. Yeppo. The price break downs were showing this morning but they seem to have gone down now... I think I am going to go and have a nice cuppa and then come back in half and hour. Wonder if the NZ red zone sold out as someone said it was showing limited.....?
  8. yep, I got the same message from the ticketmaster site. Time for bed I think as I am also hoping all will be fixed overnight ready for the onslaught tomorrow. sweet dreams!
  9. [quote name='dgeremia wrote: lisaking']Theunforgettablelyr, thanks for bringing a smile to my face. I feel the same way and I've been doing this since the 80s when I used to camp outside ticketek! It's the same but probably worse now in some ways with technology. Back then you'd count how many people were in the queue before you and try and work out how many more were camping out around Australia and then curse a of those people on the 'inside' who had friends who worked at the ticket agency!! Now it's all hidden, and my Internet connection is always too slow. :0) I'm just thinking that in just over 12 hours it'll all be over and then I won't have to stress until they release more dates in the cities and/or December itself. You just took me down memory lane, I remember being lined up 1989, sleeping on the footpath in Broadway outside the old Grace Brothers building, waiting to get tickets. Then getting row 3 at the Entertainment Centre and standing next to Paul Mcguiness, gosh talk about memories, I was only 19. Now I am 40 and still doing the U2 thing. As all previous U2 concerts I am so so excited and I cant wait till tomorrow. U2.COM website seems to be having some problems at the moment, hoping they get fixed very soon. well dgeremia I am sure our paths have crossed then as I spent many hours on the concrete outside Grace Bros in Sydney in winter1989. Those were the days. They did, what, 15 shows in Sydney or something like that! The last few were postponed due to a bomb scare if you recall and they had to come to Sydney again in November (after doing shows in September and October) :-)

  11. Nope, no police visits for me so it must have been another pregant lady! Gosh, I wonder what the police wanted then? I am intrigued. I went to all three in Sydney in 2006 and no cops were talking to me alas.... :-)
  12. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to everyone buying on pre-sale tomorrow. I know there will be lots of peeps, like me, not sleeping tonight, but I am hopeful we will all get something. I am just so thrilled they are coming back. Last tour in 2006, I was 6 months preggers (and we camped out from Wednesday for the first Friday Sydney show - GA), so I am very happy that I am not pregnant this tour! Looking forward to meeting some of you in a couple of months! :-)
