  1. Can anyone post how much tickets cost in each section? I'm hoping to buy through the Wires sale tomorrow.
  2. Yeah, this is unacceptable; I saw similar complaints from folks on Twitter. I'm in Section 112 tonight. Also: why are they charging top prices for seats at the ends of the arena? After seeing night 1 from a different section, I'd assume that you can't see the screens from that vantage point.
  3. Neither show is sold out (at least when I checked on July 4th). Why would they add more when the demand isn't there?
  4. Man, that stinks. If only there'd been some way in advance of knowing when your wife was going to reach full term.
  5. LOL! You're joking right? "A good percentage of the seats were $40 - $120." - Like what - 5%$? Troll the forums - NOBODY got those. " Best seats in the house are $89." - Again, what 2k tickets out of a 19k arena? Bottom line - GREED has taken control of U2. I got 2 pre-sale tickets for night 1 at $113 each (in the 100 level), and 4 public sale for night 2 at $113 each (in the 300 level). All I did was filter my selection by price when picking tickets through Ticketmaster and they popped right up.
  6. IIRC, Toronto was one of the few cities to get a third date on the 360 tour.... maybe they're just trying to share the wealth this time around. Or maybe it's just something simple, like the ACC being booked for other events. Remember also that on the Elevation tour, they played Toronto on one leg and then hit nearby Hamilton on another. Don't give up hope!
  7. I purchased two tickets for the Tuesday show with my presale code on Friday. I then purchased four tickets for the Monday show during the public onsale today. I used the same credit card for all orders. Should be OK, right? I'm within the limit for each show/presale, and no one else in my household purchased ANY tickets. Hadn't even crossed my mind that there might be a ticket limit issue until I saw this thread.
  8. Does anyone know if there's a way to give away 'credit card entry' tickets (such as for the Toronto show)? My wife, myself and two friends would like to attend the show; I plan on using my INNOCENCE code to grab two tickets tomorrow, and then hopefully getting two more during the public on-sale. If I get better tickets through the public onsale than through the presale (unlikely, but you never know!) then how can I go about giving the presale tickets to our friends?
  9. Metallica had a very similar setup when I saw them at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto (same venue where U2 will play). Long 'strip' of stage, ran end-to-end along the floor with seats available everywhere in the arena. Seemed like everyone had a great view of the stage as the band moved around throughout the night. Is that the one from the movie they released? That looked awesome. Similar, if I recall correctly. However: I just looked at the San Jose seating chart and it looks like there's a big stage at one end, a small stage by the Red Zone and a runway connecting the two. That's definitely different than the Metallica setup, which had no primary stage... 'twas just a long rectangle.

    Toronto Presale

Well done! I'm in the INNOCENCE group, so crossing my fingers for tomorrow. What was your price for the section 104 seats?
  12. Did you use the dropdown from your username? That takes me to the $50 packages, which I think are for *new* users, not just those renewing expired accounts. Or did you try the link from the tour page? That one still seems to be broken for me.
  13. I was hoping to use my presale to buy tickets for myself, my wife and a couple of friends. However, I see that the presale limit for this tour is two tickets. So, I'm thinking of trying my luck with the public on-sale... can anyone speak to as to the quality of seats that are available for the public on-sale vs. the presale? Also, if I buy presale tickets (kinda as 'insurance' against the public onsale selling out before I get any seats), am I able to resell them later (at face value of course, I don't care to scalp!)?
