  4. Baja just posted this on another thread, I thought I'd repeat it here. This seems to be happening with my account, in theory I still should be able to buy two tickets with one of my codes but I get an "invalid password" error when trying to access the Ticketek sale for Auckland (not that I'm worried, I only need the tickets I've already got). FolksWe have become aware that if you go into the ticketing system and search for seats multiple times your code can become invalid. It will still show as unused but the ticketing system will reject it as "incorrect or used". Most reports have come from the ticketek system. Please don't do this, tech informs me that it is very difficult to fix as the error is on the ticketing site and the few people that have experienced this issue have yet to complete their purchaseAny other info will be posted here Presale info updateswith the newer updates posted at the bottom of the thread. If anything else pops up it will be posted hereThanksBaja So be be safe don't go logging in and out searching for tickets with Ticketek, make your selection and purchase.
  5. If I understand correctly you've already bought 3 tickets for shows in other cities and you want to use the code again for a 4th ticket in a second show (if there is one) in Sydney? You can't, and it has never been said that this would be possible. In the USA this would be possible but in Europe it isn't (the two cases that would have appeared in the FAQ before the NZ/AUS rules appeared). If you've assumed you would without reading the FAQ (which has been updated for a few days now) and/or reading the forum (which admittedly is way to long to be useful unless you spend some time going through it) then that's unfortunate, but the rules were there.
  6. From the FAQ: Q - How Many Tickets Can I buy in the NZ/Aus U2360 Tour Presale? A - As a paid-up U2 subscriber you are eligible to purchase up to FOUR tickets for any ONE show. The code can be used ONCE only against up to four tickets at any one show in NZ or Aus. So, EACH code may be used for four tickets at any one show. You're all good. My confidence is high as I have used two codes to buy six tickets (four + two) for the NZ show.
  7. No In the Australia and NZ presales 1 code may only be used for 1 show, whether that be 1, 2, 3 or 4 tickets. You may not use partially used codes on further shows, at the same venue or otherwise.
  8. [quote name='Nniixx wrote: grant1975']So have my Red Zone Tix for Bris which I am stoked with - Just wanted to have a look and see where the $39.00 were located...1st section right behind the bloody stage!!! these tix are massively better than the $300 seated - well for Brisbane anyways...and it doesnt look like they are restricted view!!! But the majority of the time you'd be looking at the back of the band ? That's where I got my tickets. As I understand it the band moves around the stage and while may be facing towards the majority of the crowd a lot of the time they also face towards the back every now and again (there was a post about it in this thread somewhere, can't find it right now).
  9. [quote name='bjc wrote: nj2obrien']Well seems like Cedars are getting tickets. I see alot of people stating they are cedars earlier, now saying they have tickets Aaaahhhhhhh, no. Serious question (Bsd1 will be able to answer it for the Kiwis). If you log into ticketek, and then access via the presale shortcut, you need to log in to ticketek again? Or am I mising something? Roll on MondayI'm not sure what you mean, but I'll give it a go. You shouldn't need to log in to Ticketek again UNLESS you logged in 10 minutes or more before you tried to buy tickets, it seems Ticketek logs you out if you don't do anything for 10 minutes or so. Re: the Cedar thing what SHOULD happen is that if you joined the fanclub after the 22nd August you're in the Cedar group and your pre-sale code (which will start 3UE) will only be valid on the 30th August section of the pre-sale.

Where had you previously used your code? Thanks very much - and sorry for the 3rd degree!! Yes please do. With the NZ pre-sale the code gives access to buy tickets and then you are restricted to 4 tickets based on your ticketek ... So if you have multiple ticketek account and CC you could scam the system a bit ? Scalpers will have a field day. We canceled ALL orders of people that did that Good job

Theoretically you'd be able to log in with a different ticketek account, use the code and then buy four more tickets. The restrictions seem to be tied to the ticketek account, not the code itself. So if you have multiple ticketek account and CC you could scam the system a bit ? Scalpers will have a field day. Appears so. At least no tickets have appeared on TradeMe (yet).
  12. [quote name='Feedback wrote: Kiley']I see the presale wording has changed to : Group 2 (Cedar, or, any code that begins with 3U2E) - Begins Mon. 30 Aug. (Times TBC). Did anyone with a 3U2 code use it for NZ? I used by 2U2 one, and was going to use the 3U2 one for Sydney {I should look have looked closer: my second code is 3U2D... not 3U2E... phew! so hopefully will work} My second code starts 2u2.......I hope its right!! I used two codes successfully to buy 6 tickets, my U2 one for the first 4 and then my 2U one for the next 2.
