    Waving the EU flag

Its cool I appreciate your honesty, its all about opinions. I just don't think they should be waving it over here. I'm not racist or don't hate anything, its just what I think. I know one thing it could do and that's divide the audience over here, but that's something they have thought about I guess.

    Waving the EU flag

There is nothing wrong with the EU flag , we voted to leave the EU in Britain so dont start waving it in the gigs over here, the crowd will be very divided and if they start waving the EU flag they may get a fair few people booing the fact. There is nothing wrong with different views i just dont want them rammed down my throat at a gig, ive read a fair few comments of fans over here who feel the same way. They are still an amazing live band and thats what i want to see, the guys rocking the place! I just find Bono's political speeches at gigs very off putting these days thats all.

    European leg starts this month

I totally agree with you, bad idea especially over here in England. I don't agree with them at all, they need to leave it out and just play the songs for once!

    European leg starts this month

Please don't wave the EU flag in England!! I disagree with them strongly with their views on Europe. Its not hate or dislike that we voted for Brexit, people just want control of our country back. Its about time they did what they do best and just play and sing the songs. For me Bono's long political speeches breaks the flow of U2 gigs and spoils them. I watched the club gig in New York online and it was amazing! Just playing and singing the songs with energy and passion, like the old days! I think the fans will be very divided with the waving of the EU and no doubt the speeches about it especially in England.

This SOE is shaping up to be a gem

I keep changing my mind on SOE. Firstly i thought it was just ok and in parts a bit boring, then with more listens parts started to grow on me. Having listened more i think its just a good album and nothing more. As Bono says, good is the enemy of great. Its certainly not rock n roll. The best song is The Little Things which i think is great. The Blackout is very good but for me there isn't enough songs that i want to listen to again and again. I prefer SOI which i think got a raw deal because of the apple i tunes debacle. Too many songs about the same subjects these days for me.

I was like that at first but tracks are growing on me slowly.. little things is a great track. Im not keen on 13 and Landlady.

This SOE is shaping up to be a gem

Personally i think SOI is a far stronger album than SOE . I find a few songs on SOE quite boring and some just too poppy. Little Things, The Blackout and Red Flag Day are the best tracks for me, other songs don't really resonate with me. Usually i listen to a new U2 album and can't wait to play it again but that is not happening with this album. Hopefully in time it will grow on me, just don't think it will. Hopefully on the next album they won't worry about having hits and make amazing music they are still capable of. If the album grows on me i will write another review!...... ok.. having had the chance to listen to the album a few times it is slowly growing on me! My only gripes are 1. Love is all we have left should not be the first track and 2. Personally i dont think Landlady and 13 There is a light are strong enough tracks to be on the album. Other than that i look forward to listening to the album a lot more and hopefully will begin to really love it

Safe and predictable is definitely the problem with SOE. Let other bands do that.

This SOE is shaping up to be a gem

I have to agree with you im afraid to say. Apart from a few songs i just can't get into this album. They should stop worrying about being played on the radio and just make amazing stuff i know they are still capable of. They just sound like any other band with half of the songs on SOE. The first song should never be the opener and the last song along with a couple of others are just not good enough im afraid.

  13. Look i am a huge fan but quite simply the tickets for this tour are too much , i just don't see how they can charge these prices! Also for the Joshua Tree tour 2017 i shelled out £170 english pounds per ticket, i don't know of any other band that charge this much. When you are on a budget it's hard to afford these prices, i don't like having a go at the band but had to on this issue.
  14. Sorry STING we are being stung at these outrageus prices! I don't care how much demand there is and who it is, concert tickets should never be this price! I have been to every tour since War but at these prices I will probably miss this one. Also it looks like the same stage set up as the I & E tour so same show just a few different songs.
