Thanks! Oooh a harmonica must have been awesome! My friend won’t directly say but I believe she’s turned off by how political Bono is “lately”.... but I maintain that he’s been like that all along, and he’s mostly calling for people to get together to make a better world... If this friend backs out i know someone else who would love to go. Whatever happens I am determined to have fun! And I hope I can be there in time for the raffle!

    Fan Packages

What is the gift? I have the VIP package for NJ. Also, was it worth it? With the food and raffle and gift and such? I’m hoping to get to the venue when it all starts but the person going with me is disinterested and would rather get there right before the show starts.

    Different Stage Set-up?

I wonder if that’s a mistake on the website’s part? Since there is no Red Zone indicated I feel like it’s not a U2 stage. But who knows, maybe they will change it. The image I saw when I got my tickets was of the ie stage.

This SOE is shaping up to be a gem

I saw the link on FB and scrolled through it quickly but haven’t taken a real listen. I think I’ll wait until Friday, I have enough to keep my busy until then.

Ticketmaster CD Coupon...did you get the email?

I got mine the day after I purchased my tickets! Can’t wait to have the physical CD in my hands. iTunes is nice and all with its instant downloads but I really like having the actual CD.

This SOE is shaping up to be a gem

I agree! I actually overall liked Songs of Innocence and I am looking forward to its counterpart! The five songs that we've heard so far are great, it sounds like an awesome rock album and I can't wait to hear these songs live!

American Soul or The Blackout as openers?

The Blackout. I can see them playing Get Out Of Your Own Way and American Soul in order like on the album, because of the rap part in between that it looks like Bono will do on his megaphone.
  15. Well said! I am afraid of how much I spent on tickets, and upset that they cost so much to begin with, but I am thankful to be seeing U2 again and thankful that they are still here making great music. And absolutely there are people out there who could never afford even the least expensive tickets, or people who hold on to their savings for more necessary things. But the biggest reason I continue to buy tickets to see the band whenever they are in my area is because it gives me something to look forward to. I'm sure I'm not the only one - there are days where U2 and their music are the only things keeping me here. I'm never happier than when I am at a U2 show. So I will always be grateful to them.
  16. Thank you mods for connecting us like this so we can enjoy each other’s company and follow the shows! Looking forward to the next tour already!
  17. I love this band so much. The best band, the best crew, the best fans.
  18. Cool. Never heard him sing before! But thank you to Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno for producing one of the best albums of all time! And Anton Corbijn for capturing it beautifully!
  19. I can’t believe it’s the last night of this amazing tour! I really am so grateful to have experienced it in person. These shows are always the highlights of my years.
