  1. Since it's the 30th anniversary of the release of the Rattle And Hum album this year (releasedate october 10th 1988), how about some Rattle And Hum songs on coming tour? And I don't mean the usual stuff like Angel Of Harlem, or Desire, but something like Hawkmoon 269, God Part 2 or Heartland would be great! I will be at the second Amsterdam show on october 8th, and it happens to be that I bought my copy of Rattle And Hum on saturday october 8th 1988, two days before it's official release. It was just before closing time, and the shop had it already on the shelves. So I simply got a copy of the album, went to the counter and bought it. So probably I was one of the first buyers of the album in The Netherlands! ;-) So it would be fantastic if they play some Rattle And Hum on the 30th anniversary of the day I bought Rattle And Hum!

  3. Who's with me? I've seen them multiple times on every tour since '85 and have yet to see them perform one of my all time faves. They like to bring back songs that have been out of rotation for a long time and 11' O'Clock Tick Tock is way past it's time to be dusted off. LET'S LET THEM KNOW WE WANT THIS ONE! WHO'S IN?
  4. Stay is one of my favorite songs... This will be my 6th U2 gig and I've never heard it live I know the probability of having it on the setlist is low, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
  5. Here's a video of a fan in Turin requesting Acrobat. Bono says "We looked at it yesterday actually." https://www.facebook.com/U2.360gradi/posts/1035863576454200 Spread the word. Maybe we can get it played if the community really gets involved in this. Thoughts?
  6. I really think the Troubles would be a killer encore ending song for the rest of the tour. Perfect ending sound. I also would love to see a different song open the second set such as the fly or something from pop such as discoteque or mofo. What do you all think?
  7. Sounds like they want to try Crystal Ballroom live and I am all for it!!! Love that song. So "Big it up" if you want to encourage the boys to play this beaut. I vote Yes Please

    Grooms Cake

From the album: Popodiah's U2 Pics

This is a photo of the groom's cake my wife surprised me with at our wedding on 10/7/13. The first album I ever bought was The Joshua Tree, back in the summer of 1988 (still my all time favorite album, One Tree Hill's still my all time favorite song). Printed on a sheet of fondant is the setlist of the concert they played in Belgium on The Joshua Tree Tour on my birthday. The cake was made by Patisserie Angelica in Sebastapool, California. I was even more surprised than I was when U2 busted out Electric Co, An Cat Dubh, Gloria & The Ocean on the Vertigo tour!
