While many remixes vanished from the "Complete U2" offer that was once available, the remasters are all at iTunes.com and elsewhere. Plus, you could pick and could choose individual songs, if you can't wait or just need to fill in the gaps. "A Celebration", for example was packaged with the deluxe October, whereas I always associate it with War, and it was unavailable forever.

WHY AREN"T MORE FOLKS COMMENTING WHEN 2 CDs ARE DAYS AWAY?

Cannopt prove it, and well, I swear I read the announcement (now gone from news archive) that contained the phrase "2 discs will ship by the end of the year". That plus the fact that:

1. there are now URL with lyrics to unreleased songs appearing

Jean genie : http://www.u2.com/discography/lyrics/lyric/song/192/

Amazing Grace : http://www.u2.com/discography/lyrics/lyric/song/195/

Crazy Tonight (karaoke?) Remix: http://www.u2.com/discography/lyrics/lyric/song/191/

With gaps left for songs after NLOTH and no Father Christmas, no Because The Night, nor Children of the Revolution. No patterm just hints

2. we're in the time of year when fan clubs (Beatles, Star Wars) send gifts

(and family membre s gift subscriptions)

3. the damn subscribe page is redirecting to the home page as I type this. Just clicked on several "subscribe" ads on at u2.com, and you was directed to:

http://www.u2.com/service/subscribe (mirror of home page)

The Sept 24 News item is not helping my post. Egg on my face in 28 days or fewer

WHY? ! ?
