Subscriber mcgurk76 Posted October 29, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted October 29, 2009 Who would you like to see Support U2 for the 2010 gigs? I would like to see Travis on a big stage here in the US. Big crowd pleaser. I would also like to see the Bhoys on stage for 3 hours solid.

Subscriber kennyu272 Posted October 29, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted October 29, 2009 Any of these please The Airborne toxic event The Temper trap The Big Pink Editors Doves I'd agree with all the above except The Big Pink (just because i've never heard of them!). Editors would go down great as a support, i've seen them many times and they always come up with the goods.
Subscriber bethtalisman Posted October 29, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted October 29, 2009 how about Jay-Z? Seems to have a relationship with the boys.....Someone on another thread mentioned The Killers, which would be cool. Snow Patrol were amazing in Chicago....so a repeat for those who might have been treated to the Peas???

Subscriber celticfc09 Posted November 18, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted November 18, 2009 I say dump Snow Patrol and Black Eyed Peas, maybe keep Muse I'd Love to see Arcade Fire open for them again, but preferably Flogging Molly. Flogging Molly would be great I think cause they'd fire up the crowd for Bono like no other. I've heard Airborne Toxic Event rumored a few times as well as MGMT and Pheonix. Now those last two I have a little difficulty believing. Jay-Z would be something to see, they could even bring him out again for Sunday Bloody Sunday. But with this possibly being their last tour for a very, very long time, why not pull out an all star opening Act. Get Coldplay, Bruce and R.E.M. to each take a block of shows. Bruce a long time friend of the band, R.E.M. the parrellel of U2 on a more alternative side and Coldplay which have reached the potential to become the U2 of their day. But undoubtedly having the boys play for 3 hours straight would be the best
