(except for flying- HATE flying!!!!)I love Washington, D.C.! While I'm visiting my friend in Virginia this weekend, we are going to drive up to D.C. for a day. We've asked our congressional office to arrange tours - very difficult as we are there only a week and lots of these sites are only available one or two days out of the week. Security concerns also make it difficult - did you know that less then 50% of the people who try to tour the White House are actually able to??? You have to fill out forms with Soc.Security numbers and wait while they run a background check, then they let some of those who passed the background check inside. Link to post Share on other sites

We're waiting to hear about the White House and also the Pentagon and Congress.
