Hello everyone... So I first saw U2 in 1985 and love them...but does the answer to my enquiry look as though anyone actually read what I wrote?
The machine is too big maybe?

U2 Artificial Horizon Triple Vinyl Set.

Hello there, I received this yesterday and I am rather confused.

The vinyl was listed as being as follows

U2's Artificial Horizon - Limited Edition Triple Purple Vinyl Album On
U2.com --- I copied and pasted this directly from an email I have received.

Why is my vinyl BLACK?

Please can you advise when I will be receiving the purple vinyl as
advertised?

LOL at the answer. Very typical for them, trust me :D

 

But to answer your question, people say that it is purple, but very, very dark. If you turn it against the sun, for example, you should see it's purple.

Hey at least they're answering emails now. That's a step up from blatantly ignoring us. Now if we could only get them to answer the questions in the email correctly rather than providing a canned answer which in no way has anything to do with the question. ;-P

 

Regarding the vinyl, I haven't actually seen it yet but yep what Kristaps said.
