I'm curious to know what kind of personal memories pop up whenever you hear a U2 song.  My list of U2 songs include:

"Mysterious Ways" Graduating from modeling school

"Numb" I had just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled

"Lemon" I started to focus on my major at the Art Institue of Seattle

  "Discoteque" Working at Ticketmaster

"Staring at the Sun" Going through  thyroid cancer testing

"Magnificent" finishing the Bloomsday race at 1:18

Enough about me, what are the first memories which come to mind when you hear a U2 song?

Streets - not so much a memory, but I think of the color red every time I hear it.

Ultraviolet - reminds me of the Rose Bowl show. It was a wonderful re-introduction to a beautiful song.

Get On Your Boots - the broken ankle I got at the Rose Bowl show. I think of the cast I had every time I hear it, and then I laugh about it. laugh.gif

With or Without You - brings out the 15 year old just discovering how amazing U2 is!
