Well....we came up from Wanganui, 3 days off work, 5-6 hour drive each way, total expenditure with accommodation and food, etc, was around $1,000.  So...we were definitely looking forward to the show.

Finally arrived after JayZ had finished (as the train took so long), which were ok with.
Seated on the South stand on tiny seats, and my wife could only listen to the first couple of songs, as everyone was standing up, and she was quite tired (as she is quite pregnant!).  Saw one more song, and then she fainted out of nowhere, and had a miniature seizure - all very scary.  Never seen her do anything like that.  A kind guy helped me escort/carry her out to St John's, where she was very ill for several minutes.  Then off to hospital, until 2:30am.
So - a very expensive visit to Auckland hospital really!
Very gutted, as have never seen U2 live before...
Wondering whether we have a snowballs chance of getting any money back on our tickets - I assume not, but I would be interested to know who I would approach to ask the question.  Anyone have an idea?

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles. This better be one great kid you two are having. I'd be holding that over his or her head for the next 20 years. Maybe the baby could pay you back. If you started adding interest to the $1,000 now, by the time you collect from him or her after he or she is done college ... you might have enough to travel around the world. That could make up for missing a U2 concert.

Hope your wife is well again. It sounds like it was a scary event!
