Bono & Edge to perform on American Idol Posted: May 23, 2011 By: m2 / @mattmcgee Overheard backstage during Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards: Paul McGuinness mentioning plans for a rehearsal on Monday for a performance on American Idol. Rumors have been circulating for a couple days that Bono and Edge would perform a Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark song with some of the cast. The American Idol finale will happen over two days: Tuesday and Wednesday. Since U2 is performing Tuesday in Salt Lake City, the performance will surely happen during Wednesday's show.
