Nice little victory to share...

So I've been trying to lose weight for the last several years. At my heaviest, I was 186 pounds (I *should* be somewhere between 130 and 140.) I've been going to the gym for a long time, but it's always been two steps forward and one back, if you know what I mean. This past year or so, I've gotten serious, joined a YWCA in my neighborhood, have been eating better, and as of today, am down to 162.3. That's almost 24 pounds lost! YAY!! I have quite a ways to go yet, but thought I'd share this for anyone else who might be struggling with weight/fitness issues.

It's actually made it a bit easier that the weather has been ridiculously hot here in MSP this summer... makes me not want to eat so much... but the ? is, will I be able to keep losing when the winter comes around? Well, one day at a time!

 

Hope you're OK, Patti, don't let it slow you down too long.
