The Blue Room

Yes they were... I think Mr. K and I saw them 5 or 6 times...

And then Townshend was busted for kiddy porn... and I was so grossed out... so disillusioned and disappointed.. I bailed on them.

Okay - really goodnight this time.xxxx

I don't believe the kiddie porn charges, never did http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/05/pete-townshend-defends-hi_n_450692.html

So compared to what you have to deal with weather-wise, I have no place to complain. I've been just trying to get through work. Strange things happen at the public library. Thankfully, today was pretty uneventful. The only strange thing was the pile of human poop in the driveway this morning. Apparently, one of the homeless in the area likes to use the library driveway as a toilet...ewwww!!

OMG poop in the driveway, God love the homeless, poor souls.  You work in a public Library?  Cool!  Yes, I'm in a Chicago suburb.  Hot humid summers and cold snowy winters.  I'll take the cold over the humidity any time.

I lived in Houston for a while, and the summers were horrible! I've also lived in northern Idaho, and the winters were pretty cold there. I really hated the ice storms! If I had to choose, I would rather live with the cold than the humidity. Thankfully, I don't get too much of either here in Los Angeles.

Oh, and yes, I work in a public library. I really like the work. I'm actually finishing up my master's in library science and plan to work as a librarian hopefully for the Los Angeles Public Library, the system I currently work for.

Good for you Jen on your Masters!  Oh yeah Idaho winters are brutal.  Texas is having their worst summer ever too, no rain at all and temps over 100 every day for over a month.  They say it's as bad as the dust bowl era was.

Looks like I missed a very fun night in the blue room, kicking the juke box must have worked, nice one.

I love led zep, saw them when they were just beginning in a very small venue in Birmingham and was so close to Robert Plant I nearly fainted..................

The next time I saw them was Knebworth and they were massive by then..

Maggie you were missed.

Seeing Led Zep in their infancy must have been outstanding!

So which song would you add to the posts Connie and I have done?

Time for a little church...

Two weeks ago, I was late arriving to the live/interactive threads for Minneapolis because I was out at a nearby park listening to a local girl done good... Serena Ryder. Serena is currently touring with her back up band, but previously was in support of Melissa Etheridge.

Serena Ryder - Amazing Grace

I hope you like it. Amen.
