Lovin the baby achtung baby but a shame as some have said that we didn't get a few zooropa out-takes and the AB 'nicked' demo's. There's one that's an instrumental that sounds like a David Gilmour copy, and Everybody loves a winner I have to listen again. I also got the Beach boys Smile album boxset last tuesday as well. If I were to compare I'd say Smile was worth the price, Achtung box should've come with more but who cares. U2 didn't have an album that was scrapped and had 44 years of legend tied to it. I do wish Sky Down had more content in it though. But I'm not going to fan pick at something I think is perfectly awesome. oh yeah that instrumental, i love that! reminds me of october or unforgettable fire type style..... blow your house down is good, and i like bono's voice now, dont get me wrong, but i just dont think him singing it is achtung. bono on achtung went for a more laid back approach for his style. wasnt as anthem like in his singing, and he has made it into a vertigo type hit style....(personally i think its a much better performance from bono on this than vertigo) and the lyrics are good too. down all the days,,,,,ill have to stick it on again, just to make sure..... The only thing I can complain about is there was a rip on one corner of the inside pull out box, but other than that, this set is absolutely fantastic. The fly shades are too cool! I missed the showing of that on BBC1 deliberately cause I wanted to wait until I got the box set and watch it when I wanted to on DVD. Now I will never see these deleted scenes. So what did I miss??? There is a rip on one corner of my inside pull out box too, on the left side! I think it is because of the way everything is packed so tight inside the box. Somehow, by human hand or machine, when the box is packed, the corner of the inside tray gets ripped. Otherwise, it is perfect. I have heard of some people saying that both of their corners were ripped! Not worth the trouble of sending back though! I did call Amazon and got a $40.00 refund, so I am happy. And even if you would decide to buy the Vinyl-package along with it, it would be half the price of the Ãœber Edition. And let's face it, it's the audio and video material that does the trick.
