This is my second and final try at getting a copy of the uber deluxe! the first one came with a ripped corner under the factory plastic wrap! I returned for a replacement without even unwrapping the box!

 

 

The second time, the bottom drawer was ripped off... by the way, it showed QC #004 whoever you are, you did a POOR job! For the amount of money that it cost, I would expect a better quality control and inspection! I have completely lost the desire of having one and will return for a full refund as I wouldn't settle for anything less than a prestine collectible's item!

Got my Super Deluxe version yesterday as a birthday present. There is definitely something different about the album itself. The beats on Zoo Station seem to have a lot more backbone. On Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, the drums seem to fade in. Still, I like it! So far, I've only listened to Achtung, Zooropa and Uber Remixes. The Apollo 440 mixes of One are pretty interesting.

Same here - both front corners of the gold drawer damaged - one all the way down and the other halfway.  I got mine shipped from Amazon.uk to Australia.  Very poor packaging - only a bit of scrunched up paper inside to pad the box. May have resulted in it moving around inside the box.  A couple of dents in the top of the box too - under the magnets.  The real problem with the drawer is that the top tray sinks into it now and will eventually rip the sides of the box.

 

Amazon uk doesn't have any more stock either, so they offered me a 40 pound discount.  Even though that brings the cost down to 184 pounds, I'd still rather a new undamaged one.

 

Also, notice the Sydney DVD has the outside broadcast on it, but it's 20 mins shorter than the one I recorded from TV 18 years ago - less interviews and missing the bit at the end in the irish talk show.
