Subscriber DavidAK Posted August 11, 2011 Subscriber Share Posted August 11, 2011 On 28 March 1998 the South African Sunday Times newspaper published an interview with Bono during the South African leg of the Popmart tour. It turns out that my brother, Graeme Klopper, conducted the interview with Bono and it was his article that appeared in the magazine section of the newspaper! Graeme sadly passed away in 2003 and no one I know has a copy of the article/interview. If anyone has a copy I would be grateful to hear from you! PS: The World NEEDS Bono! Subscriber DavidAK Posted January 17, 2012 Author Subscriber Share Posted January 17, 2012 I finally managed to obtain a scanned copy of the article my brother Graeme wrote. It is impressive from all angles and will serve as a fine reminder of my now deceased brother. He had a brilliant mind and very off beat sense of humour (family trait, the humour part that is). A quote from the article: Bono: "You know, stadium rock doesn't have to be an insult anymore"; Graeme: "You mean, unlike other bands, when shit happens to U2, you make fertiliser, not wallow in it?"; Bono: "Ha! That's great man - that's going on a T-shirt tomorrow."
