One of the houses there is also called Edge Villa, but I doubt our Edge has ever been there My good thing today was an epic, 400-mile round trip day out to a comic shop that had saved a limited edition box for me featuring artwork from one of my favourite comics. They also had some rare old-canon Star Wars graphic novels, so I was also able to fill in a couple of the gaps in my collection. I'm friends with an artist who lives much closer to the shop, and they helped me find out about the box. I initially hoped they could send it by post, but when they realised it was too big to go by post, we agreed that I would go and collect it in person. Sadly I missed meeting up with my friend in person (by about 10 minutes), but the day out was still a good one. We also found a Star Wars-themed coffee shop near the comic shop which just completed the day happy for you!

It's interesting to hear peoples stories, as in the book Surrender, and whatever stories you hear, brings Bono back to earth as a human being. Well This song & so far the new Pride (which I admit I didn't listen to until now) totally wrecks that theory! These pared down versions are otherworldly! The way they are presented evokes the quality of time, past present & future. 🌌🌠🙏 PS. Love the ending..of With or Without you.. Just like Finn McCool😎 that's next on my list tonight. Had to get my laundry done first. It's not a good thing when you share a laundry room in your apartment building. You need to be quick. Get it over with as soon as possible. Leave the best for last! 1

It felt like Bono was in the room with me and I love Edge's riff at the end.... I"m not much of a writer or good with words, that's why my degree is not in English lit or journalism... but I can feel the emotion... love it

I remember that strategy well, both at college/graduate school and beyond (i.e., concerning a common laundry room). I hope it was relatively painless. 🍀

We are getting a third Alberta Clipper in as many days. We went from icky brown to everything being coated in white. It's sticking to all the trees. It has speckled the breakwater, which contains greenish turqoise opening to a darker blue that slowly fades to black as one looks at the sky. I've been down there several times now at night and we have the entire south shore to ourselves. I finally found my dog's jacket. We are about to go back out into a blizzard with no wind and walk those shores again. Pied Beauty has me inspired.
