I got accepted into University!

One of my best mates who has been having  chemo and surgery for a nasty cancer had his post treatment scan results today and has been declared cancer free. It doesn’t get much better than that .

I convinced my dad to stay home today, because there are lots cases of coronavirus in their town!

What good thing happened? Well after all the entire misery of this past year and unbelievable horrible things that have happened from the dog dying to my cat dying to my squirrel dying, my son battling cancer from HELL, my mother just died, buried her all by myself, got big fancy stretch limos for the family so I didnt have to deal with them, yesterday I decided F*CK IT took off my wedding rings, put them in my husbands hand and said I AM DONE. 28 years of marriage poof-----selling the houses, selling the lands, and running far, far away. The Rappahannock Indian in me, said enough. My tribe has been on those lands for 14,000 years, so I am donating the one piece of land in Virginia to the tribe (unbeknownst to them) packing my bags and selling the Florida houses and getting the Hell outta Florida. Too many sad memories now. Time to dream it all up again...if I don't I will hurt someone, the good thing that happened to me today is I realized my life is a freaking mess and it's time to start over.

I played my first open mic night tonight! Went really well!

omg...wow!

how did you feel about it?

did you use an amp and mic?

what kind of guitar did you use?

do you sing?

what did you play?

how was the crowd?

It was a good audience, I used my good old Epiphone SG, plugged straight into the PA. And yes, I did sing, these songs:

For some reason the third one just appears as a link. Weird.

oh thanks!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee_%26_TV

"Coffee & TV" is a song by the British alternative rock band Blur.

I love that wierd funky guitar fuzzy sound at the 2:59 mark....

how did that work out for you live?

(Im so excited for you!!)

PS-why did you choose these particular songs?

any personal meanings involved?

Actually it was not today, but it was last Friday.

Joe, who lives in the U.S., asked me to join to his class and explain a little bit about Brazil to his students.

Tech is great!! Via skype I could talk to him and be in contact with americans students.

And all of this because we met each other through U2 and Zootopia.

It was amazing!!
