It is indeed funny people are talking about the end of U2, less than three years after U2360, one of the most successful tours ever.

how soon they forget malahide...ridiculous!

it was the higest grossing tour of all time not one of them...the very best in history

Ok, excuse me, the most succesfull tour ever. ;)

youre forgiven :D

In my opinion, Zoo TV was better...:)

I liked Joshua Tree and Pop and Elevation tour wise. 360 was okay but too gimmicky and how the hell can that be carbon neutral...did they plant another rain forest??

I certainly wouldn't be motivated to release an album if I read these whiny posts.

Right now I'm envisioning Larry reading some of these and scoffing at the lack of

respect, as he did back in 2005 on the eve of the Vertigo tour, and the whole

ticketing fiasco.

People thought they were finished back in 89. Then they released arguably their

best album ever. Perhaps they perform well against that adversity.

If 5 + years is what it currently takes to put out quality, then I`m grateful.

There is plenty of great music around to whet my appetite for a future album.

But with the Vertigo tour thing, he didn't scoff at any disrespect, he apologised for the misleading information on the website - that new members would be guaranteed presale tickets.
