Testing The Music Market

Does anyone else get the sense that Invisible and Ordinary Love we're being used as "test market" songs? After analyzing the response (or lack of), this may be the reason of going back to the studio and recording more material. As a result, more delays to a schedule still being pushed back from our reach.

If only there was a way to test the new music on the fans.

Maybe on some sort of subscription based site where fans could pay and get some new material/exclusives etc.

Ah well until that platform exists what can we do.

;)

These songs were not really good enough - surprised so many fans rated them so highly. If they were on par with previous great songs then the band would not be going back to re-work the album.

Probably wise not to have tested the songs with the fans as they'd have got high marks - not warranted in my view. At best 2 or 3 out of 5.

I'm sure the new work when released will be worth the wait.
