Hey yesterday I hit up my iphone to play some Alice and Chains - MTV unplugged show circa 1996 recorded at BAM in NY -  it brought back great memories and is a great listen - Got me to thinking and researching. U2 never did an MTV Unplugged show. That kind of shocks me - It was a huge part of the 90's for me.  If you check out its history on Wiki you can see an amazing roster of artists starting in 1989 performing on the now music-less MTV. We know that the series became less prominant over the years as MTV phased out and U Tube phased in. In the last 2 years there was only one show per year - last was Miley Cirus (God help us) in 2013.

With this new album being a perfect fit for an MTV Unplugged special - It would be amazing - Great PR and a great part of the history. They are performing at the MTV EMA's this week - so why not chat it up with the exec's guys. Watch some of the U-Tube videos of past shows - it was a great format - not unlike what the band has been doing lately. Anyone Agree?
