I have always wondered why the Rolling Stones have done so well. They have'nt really been a very progressive band since the 60's. Yet they are THEBIGGEST TOURING BAND IN THE WORLD.

Before anybody starts arguing with me about this check your facts. The Rolling Stones outsell everybody they go up againsteverytime for the last two decades atleast. In 2005 when U2 and the Stones were touring the Rolling Stones tickets sales were well beyond U2's. Of course after the Stones U2 is the second mostsuccessful live performance ever. Why second? What keeps the Stones on top?

The Stones have charged an obscene amount of money for their tickets on every tour. Plus they usually play stadiums so they're playing to more people whenthey go on tour. U2 360, although abbreviated in 2009, may end up being the biggest grossing tour in history as they'll play to more people than Vertigodid and they'll have enough high priced tickets to get them over the top.
