Hi Bigwave thanks for message, but i don't think you have grasped what I was saying, my Son is not a party of 4 and we were only allowed 2 tickets anyway on the pre-sale and my Son is only one going to Glasgow Hydro.

ah, ok got it now... how old is he?

He is 21 bigwave the ticket was his present from us, if my husband goes up with him with his credit card, passport and confirmation then I don't see why he still won't be admitted just because my husband is not going to the gig.He is just taking him and while he is at gig my husband is going to go see a movie.

Would it help if I sent you the email Ticketmaster sent my husband a week after he bought the ticket.

It is flopro & mike7man, I have never known this carry on ever !!!!!!

My Son went to see Nine Inch Nails and that was credit card entry, he took my husband as he paid for the ticket as my Son has not got a credit card and they scanned it and he got in no bother and enjoyed the gig without all this hassle :\

Any progress on this? I am from Brazil and bought GA tickets for  NYC 22 and 23, but then more shows were announced and it is more convenient to me to arrive in NY by the end of July, so I decided to buy a ticket to the 30th (hoping there will be a 31th gig) and I would sell 22 and 23. I had already seen the 'transfer' button and was counting on this so that I could just sell my tickets to anyone and transfer them to the person. But then when I tried to cilck on 'transfer' it just isn't available. I can't sell my tickets through Ticketmaster either because it requires an U.S bank account, which I obviously don't have since I don't live in the U.S. Anyway, I've seen that many people are having similar problems with this paperless ticket, so I just want to know if there is any other way to sell/transfer/trade them.

Relatively speaking, you're lucky--because NONE of the NYC tickets (including GA) are credit-card-entry (CCE), as in most other locations.  So, your problems are NOT what other people are experiencing.  You might try calling ticketmaster about the transfer option--since NYC tickets are not restricted, there's no obvious reason why you can't do that.  Failing that, you can simply post/sell your GA tickets (for face value) on this site.  Presumably, your tickets will either be mailed to you (hard tix) or emailed to you (e-tix).  Either way, you are not in any way prevented from selling them, unlike GA tix in most other venues (New York State has a law forbidding CCE tickets).  And don't confuse e-tickets w/CCE tix--they are NOT the same.  The latter are not transferable, but the former (like yours) are--even if, because you're in Brazil, you can't transfer/resell them through TM.  If you do sell them, I'd certainly be interested.

If you can print them, you can just get the PDFs at that stage and sell them on StubHub or here, etc.
