Yeah, that's the big "but". You can never please everyone and people who get left out in the cold will always whine. I don't think that should stop a potentially awesome idea though.

 

But announcing 2-3 months ahead in Croke Park... I don't see how that'd make it any different from any other show. 80k people just isn't fun for anyone.

I'm in NYC, so I'm once again primed for geo-targeted benefits, so I'm fine with it... ;-)

Croke Park, no alternative.

Phoenix Park, rain or shine :D

Big enough for all the paid subs. Of course the idea won't suit everybody

unless they make a Free tour for subs only in clubs worldwide

Seeing U2 in stadium for free wouldn't interest me unless the stadium were in my hometown.

 

U2 at the Olympia (in Dublin), however, would be worth the flight!

ok, if the gig will be in a stadium, we have one more out after Rick :lol:

 

At the Olympia r'n'r will stop the traffic again :D  better the Gaiety
