I saw someone say on FB today something that really kind of describes it for a U2 fan.  They said, "It's like getting rid of the zebra crossing at Abbey Road."

I saw it yesterday and it made me a sad. I've never been there. It's always sad and a shame when they demolish any emblematic building instead of restoring it. In my city they demolished a theatre that was a cinema... And in this case is even more sad for us.

But, it's not the end of the world and it made me think how lucky we are as we can continue enjoying the band. B)

Bit of a tribute/desperate appeal for the wall, very very sad day brothers and sisters, I actually shed a tear or two :(

couldn't watch it this morning.  Made it a minute in and had to stop.  Kinda silly that it started making me cry but that street, that building was like a dream come true on my first trip to Dublin.
