GA line for Denver

I spoke with Pepsi Center today, guest relations. This is their GA protocol as follows: lineup begins at 5 am, no wrist bands, must stay on site all day, will get wrist bands prior to entering floor, no use of onsite facilities ie bathroom, can leave the line if people in line ahead or behind are ok with that. Parking lot opens at 5 am. I informed them the way LA and Phoenix handled the GA which they both did a good job with wrist bands and able to leave the venue. I don't know what San Jose or Vancouver did since didn't attend shows there.

For those who read this doing GA, please call to complain. It is much better to give us wrist bands with our number on it so we can line up later in the day like 4 or 5 pm. Please call (303) 405-1100 and ask for guest relations. More we complain and maybe they will consider changing their GA protocol.

I can't remember the Pepsi center every handing out wristbands, unless they did once for Springsteen where only 300 or so were handed out, then one number was randomly picked to be the start of the line for entry...

Line up has been to the south of arena; it is Colorado, so many people there are enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the Front Range,  just sayin'.

Also with Red Zoners seeming to claim first rail spots, I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense to stay in line from 5:00am or 7:00am on.  Mid afternoon should get a pretty decent spot a couple people off the rail...

There's not a lot around; a bar/restaurant, one hotel, although a 10-15 minute walk will get you to some food/bars/groceries...

This needs to be settled somehow before your shows.. I can't imagine having to wait in a line all day and not be able to leave. The GA line for me was the best and not like the previous times of having to wait all day, exhausting and unnecessary.

Thanks for the information! So far I think every venue handed out wristbands except Vancouver. Too bad Pepsi center is not doing that. I can't line up at 5 am (I have small children at home!) but was thinking mid-late afternoon. At the Phoenix shows you could have walked in at 6 or 6:30 and still have a decent spot on the floor.

I just spoke to guest relations and they confirmed that wristbands wouldn't be distributed until about an hour or two before the show starts.  Not only do people have to stand in line all day, but I hear that the weather is gonna be crappy like it has been the last couple of days...

Just to prevent confusion...............all GA audience will receive wristbands splitting the total GA quantity between the two sides of the catwalk (North and South side).

As previously mentioned, some venues (LA) hand out separate wristbands which will determine your place in line to enter the venue. Which by the way is a great way to manage that line. You can leave for the rest of the day but must be back before 5 (LA) to reclaim your spot. Even if you have number 1 and show up after 5, you will move to the end of the line.

Once the venue opens, have your credit card handy, swipe, take receipt, proceed to North/South wristband 'station' and then you are in.
