Do any #U2VIP package holders have any advice on using the VIP parking pass for Chicago at the arena vs riding a taxi to the show - and/or taking the #19 bus after the show?

If you have a parking pass, use it! ;)  Park the car in the indicated lot, make sure you have your pass and/or confirmation number on the dashboard, and... take a photo of your car with the paperwork in it, just so you have some proof in case something happens (which it shouldn't)

Directions should be indicated on your email confirmation, and driving your own car is WAY MORE convinient than dealing with a Taxi/Bus/CTA/Uber.

If you plan on taking the 19, your seats better be on the North side of stadium or at the east end. They were only running 4 busses at a time which meant about 50-60% of the line gets on the busses. We got in line next to the hockey statues and weren't even close to getting on the first set. We were coming from the South side of the stadium. If you don't make the first set, you have to wait for them to return. This was about an hour or so. We had a good time hanging out with other fans for a while but it got to be a pretty long wait. Based on talking with others in line that had been to other nights, it seems they probably plan for hockey crowds which probably means a lot of people from the suburbs rather than out of towers staying downtown. CTA did not increase the number of busses from night 1 to 2. Don't know if they improved capacity on nights 3&4.

You can take the 20 as well (I believe this still takes you downtown), the issues are the same but they run more frequently with regular service compared to the 19 which doesn't have a regular schedule. So if you just miss the first set, it will only be a 10-15 min wait for the next one.

Have fun!!!
