Hey Lion, See the final post, I was editing it as I listened tomeach song. There is something truly soulful about Pop, yet also bits that I can barely bare to listen to. I think my opinion is clouded by retrospect. I pretty much disengaged from popular music in the 90's and am only really getting to know Pop now, out of it's historical context. It is strong and soulful and uncomfortable and grating...hence, fo me, a mixed bag. Perhaps I'm missing the overall feel of the album, seeing the parts but not the whole? I suspect that if I could bare to listen to it more it would become one of my favourites... Edited October 10, 2015 by kastee

This album is really worth it. Even if I prefer Zooropa
Subscriber kastee Posted October 10, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted October 10, 2015 Oh, seriously, do not start me on Zooropa, currently my least preferred of all! But I suppose that's my 80's Unforgettable Fire bias

Subscriber kastee Posted October 10, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted October 10, 2015 LOL, go for it! I Would love to get your insight into WHY you and others prefer Zooropa. Pretty much my favourite U2 albums at the moment are: 1. TUF (ok, so this hasn't changed since 1984) 2. ATYCLB 3. undecided between SOI+, HTDAAB, NLOTH, Pop, War
