Subscriber HansasHeroes1991 Posted October 24, 2015 Author Subscriber Share Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) I don't have much of a catalog, so I appreciate your knowledge.I like soundtracks. I like that concept of the segue. I am lazy, so I like to listen to that dreamy vibe. Someone has to mess with the classics, It may as well be you. I like the idea of Bladerunner 2,with a U2 soundtrack, yes ? The future is upon us. How about Cloud Atlas? I have to research the soundtrack, I've seen it 2 times focused on the storyline. Do you mean that you don't own much music or are you referring to U2's catalog?I think U2, particularly The Edge, would do a great soundtrack for a Blade Runner sequel. His work on Captive was excellent. Very dreamy and atmospheric, especially on Side 2. The Dream Theme is regular bedtime listening for me. I never saw Cloud Atlas though I always liked the title. You might appreciate The Orb's UFOrb LP. Atmospheric space music with nice dance rhythms every now and again. I think it was a bit of an influence on the making of Zooropa. I always wanted to ask U2 about that... Edited October 24, 2015 by HansasHeroes1991
Subscriber hestia Posted October 26, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted October 26, 2015 I don't own much music or U2 music either. I owned my old collection on tape which eventually wore out, Captive got too close to the radiator.: ( I lost a box of CD's once when I moved and with the new technology, I haven't quite yet updated. I know most of the classic U2 songs by heart I like the IDEA of order a work in progress. For now I'm enjoying Pandora, and this live tour is EPIC... This Shinjuku LP would be great. I would like if U2 would be in the movie... The ORB sounds great.. Wow Do you work in the music industry? You're definitely capturing the flow. It's a nice vibe... Sorry to hear about your music collection taking such a beating! That can be the worst blow on the bruise... I do not work in the industry though I am fascinated by it. Yes, The Orb got started as chill out music for London's rave goers in the late 1980's...
Subscriber razspazz Posted November 15, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) I live here in Tokyo, and your playlists are now on my playlist. As a location Tokyo, and Shinjuku is always a place to see, and to be for that 'earthy' (dirty?) city vibe. What I like most is you end with 2 sots of happy, one shot of sad. Keio Plaza Hotel, Pole Star bar. If you visit Tokyo...go here. Edited November 15, 2015 by razspazz
