      I love RHCP !!!!!    Thinking about " Trip through your Wires " right now....Maybe this should be on the " U2 song of the day " thread too.....Will post there too !!!

I wouldn't mind seeing RHCP cover "Mofo". The main riff from "Parallel Universe" has a bit of a "Mofo" feel so I reckon they could pull it off well.

 

They also sound like they'd be fans of U2.

 And when Frusciante was still in the band, they actually performed Sunday Bloody Sunday, with him on vocals...

    WOW..... I always thought RHCP can't be RHCP without Frusciante like U2 can't be U2 without EDGE.........

31 years ago, I sat about 2 feet from my parents' tv and watched this, becoming completely overwhelmed by the amazement of it.  Watching it today, I'm still blow away by this performance.

Me too watched this at my parents summer house, totally stunned by how good it was. Me too still watch this today from time to time.
