People most at risk from COVID-19 can get a coronavirus booster vaccination. 💉

In England, this includes people with a learning disability who are on their GP learning disability register. 👩‍⚕️

Most people will be able to have their booster six months after their second coronavirus vaccination. 📅

If you have a learning disability, and your second coronavirus vaccination was more than 5 months ago and have not been contacted about your booster vaccination, contact your GP. 📞

Booster vaccines are only for people who have had two doses of the coronavirus vaccine. If you have not had your first or second doses of the coronavirus vaccine yet, there is still time - just ask your GP. 🗣

The government has made an easy read 📰 guide for more information about the booster vaccine. You can read it here: https://bit.ly/Booster-Easy-Read 👈

Say hi to Sarah. 👋

For Befriending Week, Sarah wanted to recommend that anybody who is feeling isolated should find out about getting a buddy to help them feel more confident. 🙌

Not being able to go out and meet up with friends left her feeling alone, but she was able to get a buddy called Wendy through Wirral Mencap. 👍

They started talking on the phone and doing Face Time calls during lockdown, which helped Sarah feel less isolated and more confident. 🤳

So if you looking to find a buddy of your own, or want to become a befriender and make a meaningful difference, get in touch through mencap.org.uk/befriending 👈

"Megan helped me understand how music affects every part of my life".

U2 have collaborated with Sing 2 for the music video of "Your Song Saved My Life", their first new track since 2019.

The video spotlights Education Through Music which provides music as a core subject for children in under-resourced schools across North America. Throughout the inspiring video, students and teachers share their experiences of finding strength through music and highlight the importance of access to music education for children and young people.
