This is ridiculous - I don't want seats in the back corner of Twickenham - Same shit as last week - FFS offer me somewhere else - An utter shambles!!!

All want is two top tier tickets in the stage-half of the pitch; is it too much to ask???

What is the point of taking out a subscription...

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It was the same for all wires presales ,you could buy a fan club bundle at the same time as the tickets.

A complete farce.

At least today for London they gave the wires subscribers a 2 hour head start over the bundle.

Like another fan did and posted on this forum last week, I have just spoken with Ticketmaster UK and sure enough they have admitted only a limited number of ticket's and area's are available in the U2 pre-sale.

Ticketmaster confirmed this is not their fault; it is the fault of the promoter - U2's promoter!

For the 2nd week running, I am being directed to seats in the back corner of Twickenham, which I am not willing to pay £100+ for.

I failed in last week's pre-sale; last week's public sale and now this week's pre-sale - With my two pre-sale failure's ultimately being the fault of U2's promoter - Thank you very much!!!

But why is Twickenham such a problem?!?!?

The other European venues; Paris for example were a breeze.

What's more, Ticketmaster UK's website is utter cr*p. I want to choose which block I sit in; I don't want them nominating one for me.

I would go standing, but that isn't an option as my mate was recently involved in an accident and can't stand all day.

All in all, a thoroughly depressing ticket-buying experience.

As for the U2.com subscription; what is the point?!?!?!?!?!?!

Letting down the hardcore fans; not good; not good at all.

Same thing just happened this morning.....again!!!!!  In Wires group....have been a member since 2009....yes, membership lapsed..husband had a heart attack while we were doing major renovations on a home and had to live with a family member in a very small apartment for almost 2 years, when it was only supposed to be 5 months.....not to mention, thank God he survived!!....so it was not really on my radar...to say the least.

Anyway, was not able to get tickets to Met Life in East Rutherford NJ last week in presale.  I too wanted Red Zone, I have gotten them before.  That's all I was being offered, and I was not paying for seats in the 300 nose-bleed sections of that stadium to watch a screen, been there-done that, and it is not enjoyable...may as well sit in living room watching a DVD.

So I went on the ****"sister site of rip-off master" and low and behold there are thousands of tickets....How about a Red Zone ticket for $1,750???? They have 8!!!! Delivered via UPS??????

I went onto the sister site this morning after failing to get tickets again today in Wires pre-sale and there are a smattering of tickets.....REd Zone also......HOWEVER...I'll bet you there will be thousands available there later today...........check it out.

So long-story-short, I did not get any tickets through the pre-sale  and why are people allowed to buy an immediate membership package and get tickets ON THE SPOT?????

Some answers would be appreciated.

****correction...it is the sister site of ebay, but TM is still a major rip-off

What a joke this is. Prices are outrageous and the venues of these concerts are even more ridiculous. I paid 110€ for a ticket in presale in Koning Boudewijn stadion and the seat is actually still very far to the stage. The sound will not be very good either I suppose, but what do you expect in a soccer stadium...

I liked the previous tour better, smaller venues and much better sound than you will get with a stadium.

I only bought a ticket because I want to hear The Joshua Tree live, but I think it will be the last time for me.

complete and utter f@*cking disgrace... 9:00 on the button, no redzone available... TICKETMASTER AND U2, you are a complete disgrace. membership WONT be renewed after 35 years going back to Propoganda days, have seen the band across Europe and USA for decades but this is the finish. this is NOT a case of being unlucky and supply exceeding demand which I would happily accept, this is simply a case of legalised ticket- touting.. thats the presale for both London dates and Dublin with genuine fans being totally shafted and swathes of tickets being creamed off at source by ToutMaster and resold for vast profits on their sister sites... someone want to try and explain why U2 (the band of the people) are simply allowing this to happen to their loyal and genuine fans??? answer is simple... MONEY!  U2 and their management team are completely complicit in this scam and couldnt give a SH1T about us... SIMPLE AS THAT.

Well, I used my last presale code yesterday to buy a ticket for night 2 at Soldier Field... paid > $300 and found out on the forums last night, these are literally the worst seats in the entire stadium!  Under a huge overhang, right by the concession stands, can't see the stage, and the sound is horrid.  Ticketmaster will not refund or exchange my seat, so I am going to be required to contact Amex to dispute the charge, which they say will cancel my Ticketmaster account and no longer let me purchase tickets from them.  Tried to purchase another seat today, with hopefully a better view/sound, and they want to charge me $50 to sign up for the fan club again.... after many, many years of being a loyal and dutiful fan, I am contemplating not renewing next year.  To pay $40 less than a RedZone seat for the WORST SEAT IN THE STADIUM is a disgrace.  I fully agree with you.

I would have been better off buying scalp seats!

There have been numerous issues with the manner in which the pre sales have been handled, or better described as mishandled, and it would really benefit the core membership, if someone can take all the observations that we have made, over the past week, and take it to U2's management.

Lack of availability

Lack of suitability

Lack of information

This issue has been going on for years and no one really cares

Least of all U2

A lot of millage and money is being put out by fans who, sometimes have other life priorities, and can't always keep up to date with subscriptions.

But to a man keep buying the music and in return, keep being failed by an organisation.

This in now an organisation, who are now more about profits, than the ideals on which they voiced from the top of a speaker stack so many years ago.

I believe we need answers and accountability
