Rolling Stones will play Croke Park instead of U2 adding second show

The initial rumour was that The Rolling Stones would play Croke Park on either 16 or 17 June. It would now appear that the band has scrapped plans for a Summer tour and may opt instead to play a small number of dates in the Autumn.. It remains to be seen whether an Irish date will be included in the schedule, if such a tour takes place

U2 has stated that a second Croke Park date will not take place and that still seems to be the position.

So Dublin isn't on the list of Rolling Stones shows. Their tour is far too late to have an outdoor concert in Ireland. So that still leaves one show that could happen at the venue as it's just 1 show each for Coldplay and U2 at present. Plus U2 have a couple of days gap before Paris.

Wonder will they add a second show?

Doubt it (but not impossible) at this stage.. its a bit tight to get out of Dublin to Paris on Tuesday (although they are doing Rome to Barca in that time span.
