i have been to 17 shows. 1st was 3/27/92. Have seen every tour since!!!! Going to 3 this summer, so I will be up to 20!!!!!. Unfortunately, I am 61 now, and have admitted defeat. I just can't do the GA anymore. With a bad back it's just too hard  :( But that WILL NOT stop me from seeing U2, I just can't do the all day waiting and then standing the whole time b4 and during the show. During the show is fine, but do the rest. I will definately miss the whole experience of being up close to the stage .But always remember you are NEVER too old for rock n roll !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a fan since The Joshua Tree came out.  Rattle and Hum was as close to a U2 concert experience I could get back in 1988 when I was 14 years old.  However, I am a late bloomer when it comes to the concert experience.  I have seen U2 3 times:

2009: Boston, 360 tour

2011: Montreal, 360 tour

2015: Montreal, I&E tour

I will be turning 43 in June and will be seeing U2 for the 4th time in Boston!!!  I will be taking my 13 year old son to his first U2 concert and hope that it will be an amazing experience for us!!!

I am 22, and have been to three shows, fourth one in June.

1) U2360, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia PA, 2011

2) U2360, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford NJ, 2011

3) i+e, Madison Square Garden, New York NY, 2015

#4 will be The Joshua Tree 2017, MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford NJ, 2017. This will be my first time in GA, I can't wait!

I agree, carvajfcutah, most people our age think U2 is a band for our parent's generation, but I think they are a great group for any age! I grew up listening to U2, been a serious fan since 2010. By far they are my favorite band.

I'm 28 now, been a fan since I first heard Mysterious Ways on the radio as a kid. Eventually bought all their albums, didn't get to see them in concert until 360 Tour, went to Foxborough 9/20/09 and then East Rutherford 7/20/11 which somehow managed to top the first show. Missed the last tour but I'm going back to East Rutherford again for the 6/28 show. Don't plan on ever missing a tour ever again either, who knows how long they will keep this up!

I'm 47, and I've seen them 8 times. I feel like a bit of an underachiever! I can't believe there was a 17-year gap between shows. Sure I had two kids, but I should've found the time and money somehow.

1986 - Conspiracy of Hope, LA

1987 - Joshua Tree, LA

1992 - ZooTV, LA

2009 - 360, LA

2011 - 360, Anaheim

2015 - Three i+e shows (the Roxy and the Forum in LA plus Madison Square Garden)

My husband surprised me with tickets to see them in Paris for our 25th wedding anniversary in November 2015, but our show was postponed due to the terrorist attacks. Unfortunately I couldn't stay to see it, but at least I have the DVD.

I'm flying to Vancouver in a couple of weeks for the opener, plus I have GA for both Rose Bowl shows. So excited! Can't wait to hear the album from beginning to end. My kids will see U2 for the fourth time in Vancouver. The tradition continues!

I'm 46 and my first show was Hampton, VA on the Unforgettable Fire Tour. I've seen them in 17 cities, 3 different countries, and adding 3 new cities to the list this go round: Seattle, Miami and Boston. I have to go back and look, but have probably seen them around 30-40 times. Can't wait for this tour; such a familiar experience, it's like going to a family reunion!

I'm 42 and haven't seen that many.

2001 - Elevation, Birmingham

2005 - Vertigo, Macnhester

2009 - 360, London

2010 - 360, Belgium

2015 - IE, London * 2

I keep meaning to go to Ireland but I chicken out each time blaming price, time etc so I'm going to London in June. I'm promising myself I will do Ireland next time.
